EA Birthday Coupon
« on: July 18, 2010, 02:26:36 PM »
I posted this in another thread, but figured a lot of people might miss it so I should create a new thread for it.

For years EA has been offering an email coupon for their customer's birthdays.  Here is where you need to register to get signed up for it.

In the past I've gotten $15 off any of their current releases on my birthday.  It's not good for a pre-order, and you have to pay for shipping, but the end result is always going to be cheaper than buying it at your local store.  When you sign up they also occasionally send you other coupons for a % off certain products.  I haven't found these to be useful since I only like Sims these days, but if you're into other types of games then you might like that too.

Anyway, hopefully that helps save you some money!  :)

Thanks Aria, I'm definitely interested in this.  Too bad my birthday is in June.  :D

AriaGirl, your link doesn't seem to be working for me. Could you re-post it, or maybe direct me where in the EA website. It's my birthday tomorrow so I really don't want to miss out on getting a coupon!  ;D

I spoke too soon.  I forgot when I signed up at the EA site, it was a long time ago and I used my other email account.  I don't check it very often, so I was checking email there and found my birthday 25% off code, yay.  Guess I will get my sims3 for Wii with that, I think I can get the game for 44.00 instead of 59.00, so that is pretty cool.  Glad I checked my other email, lol. :)

I think it was just my work computer refusing to open the link as it worked fine at home. When I clicked on it I remembered that I had filled in my personal details when registering, alas I have no birthday coupon   :'( Was thinking of saving it for the next stuff pack, depending on the expiry date that is (if it would have had one).

If I'm remembering correctly, they give you a month to use it.  Are you sure you entered all that info on the EA site?  The official Sims 3 site has a different set of forms.
