I can't see any of the pictures in your most recent chapter.

Is that better?

Yay~~ I'm excited! Not only, Chris. There will be a chance for Agnes to show in your story <3
It's a nice makeover. Your founder is cute. Oh, and I love the clothes in second makeover picture. It is a store item? Can you tell me what's the name? Thanks ;D

I couldn't decide if I should have Agnes move in, but she's turned into a fairy so she can't now. But she'll still be a part of the story. It wouldn't feel like an Immortal Dynasty otherwise :P The dress? That's one of my favourites, it's the Beautiful Blossom Dress from the store.

Whoa, I almost didn't recognize Chris! And your founder's adorable :) hey, if you really want Agnes in your household, there's always the potent cure elixir! If not, she'll probably be around for generations to come :) good luck!

AN: Sorry for my lack of building skills. My houses tend to be built for convenience instead of appearance. I must admit, I do like the little porch though. :P

Week Two, Day One

I met her today. Agnes Crumplebottom. The woman in mourning. I couldn’t live with myself any longer, and invited her over. She is one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I could not tell her the real reason for my calling her of course, so told her that I was new in town and wanted to make some friends, which is completely true.

We hit if off right away. Like Christopher, she seems to understand me on a level I had not expected. She’s not like my other friends. They’re all so… modern.

Agnes is different, and we get along so well . Once we were friends, I gently questioned her about her life and happiness. She is not happy yet, but she assures me she’s getting there. Her one real difficulty seems to be loneliness. I tried to encourage her to get out a bit more, go to the park and meet some people. She politely refused and told me she would never have the courage. But I am determined to help her if it’s the last thing I do. I told her as such as we were saying goodbye. She laughed, but I saw hope in her eyes. Soon Agnes will not be the woman in mourning anymore.

Week Two, Day Two
I discovered a small store at the edge of town that sells magic items, potions and the like. There was one potion called Midas Touch. The woman behind the counter told me it turned things to gold. I bought it, curious to know if it worked. It did, and it brought in enough money that we could upgrade our house quite a bit.

We are now comfortable, if not rich, so it only made sense to fulfil a wish both of us have had for a while now. Two days ago I found out I was pregnant.

I did not expect the thrill I felt upon realising. While I have wonderful friends who will always be there for me, none of them can completely understand how lonely it is sometimes, to be in a world I don’t understand. This little sim inside me changed that completely. It’s as if I finally have a tie to this world, somebody to become immortal for.

Week Two, Day Four

I was up late last night, unable to sleep because I felt so worried. I knew that I had to decide which God or Goddess I was bringing to earth first before my child was born. Would I choose a God or a Goddess? Would I have a son or a daughter?

When I finally fell asleep I woke up almost immediately, but I was not in bed. I was not even on earth. I was barely past a teenager, and certainly wasn’t pregnant. Zeus stood opposite me, exactly as I’d last seen him.

He came forward smiling warmly. “We don’t have much time, so I must talk fast,” he said. “Congratulations on everything, Demeter. You’re doing so well.”

“Thank you,” I said, “Now what do you really want?” I knew my brother too well to think he had spent all this energy on getting me here to give me congratulations.

“Quite simple, I wish to talk about your job. You know you have a task you must complete for eight generations-”

“I know my task,” I interrupted, “I’ve known since I found out I was pregnant. I will be a mother to all of them, help my children raise their own.”

“Very good,” he said.

I was not leaving. I should have been, if that’s really what he wanted to talk about. “What is it really you need?”

“You always have known me better than the rest, Demeter. I believe it’s a talent of yours, nobody can fool you. What I want is simple. You will decide tomorrow that it is me you want to bring to earth. You will call your son Zeus, and I shall live again.”

It was an order. An order. He thought he could control me.

“And if I don’t?”

“Then you will face the consequences.”

There was no time to argue. The pull to earth that had slowly been getting stronger gave a sudden jerk and I was hauled back to my bed. My eyes opened. Christopher was leaning over me looking panicked and I was in worse pain than I’d ever been before.

It was time.

I had to decide now. Before it was too late.

Welcome to the earth, Amphitrite Olympian.

Thank you for your answer before, Meg. Finally found at last :3

---

Yes, I can understand about that. But, yours are somehow much more better than when I started to build my first own house XD
Well, there is Agnes in your story! Hello, Agnes~
Hmm, I never had any luck to find Midas Touch thing in my Dynasty when I go shopping. But, it's seem that potion is really something :D
This is an interesting development that you have there. I can't wait to see more of them.

And welcome to Amphitrite Olympian. :3
Hope that you will fit well to the family! I just wonder that she will do something about the water ^^

Ooh, drama.  Curious about Zeus.  Why would he want to go back if they are trying to increase their numbers, I wonder...

Well, Zeus does tend to be rather prolific.  ;D Or are each of the remaining Olympians supposed to be reborn on earth? Welcome, gen 2!

Any Gods/Goddesses can be brought to earth, not just Olympians :) As for Zeus... all will be revealed ;)

Hmm... I predict Zeus comes in as a spare to make babies to replace story progression ;) I'd imagine he wouldn't be too pleased about his position in the dynasty though :)

Intriguing so far, can't wait to see where it goes :)

Week Three, Day Two

I've been a little worried about Zeus, but what can he do? He has no physical form on this earth. Instead, I let myself be distracted by Amphitrite. She really was the most adorable baby.

We make a dreadful fuss of her and built her a pretty nursery to spend her baby and toddler days.

Before I knew it, it was her birthday.

And mine.

At the time I was very excited. But afterwards I got a bit worried about my wrinkles.

Amphitrite is still young and pretty though in her new wardrobe. She has my hair and Christopher's skin tone and eyes.

We had a party to celebrate. Parker Langerak offered me some flowers.

Some might have thought it was sweet, but I knew what he was thinking.

He tried to woo Molly the same way a few minutes later. She was smart enough to refuse.

I also spoke to Agnes and managed to convince her to have a party of her own.

She threw a pool party at her house... where there is no pool, and spent most of the time away from the guests eating, but it was a good start.

I discovered a half-decorated nursery there. Is there something Agnes isn't telling me...?

Week Three, Day Four

I'm working hard to complete my Immortal Requirements, cooking a lot and spending most of the time in my garden.

There's always time to spend time with Amphitrite though.

When I had my adult birthday somebody mentioned that I really needed to start thinking about my family, if I wanted more children and about my career. I'm working on moving up the Gardening career. As for children...

I am so happy to able see more Agnes story here! That Parker is unbelievable!
How can he flirt with many woman at once? Too bad that the woman is smart enough :P
*just don't mind about Hopeless Romantic reader here, lol*

And Amphitrite is adorable as a toddler. Sorry, but being a nooboo doesn't count for me.
Nooboos are boring, toddlers are better. Reason: So many features! Do you agree? :P

Hmm, I'm quite curious about Demeter nooboo next. It's has something to do with... Zeus...? Hmm...
Great update, Meg. I looking forward to see the next installment. Good luck and be careful okay!
Because I'm liking this story :)

Thank you :D Definitely agree. I'm having so much fun with the next toddler because Amphitrite is a child and they can play peek-a-boo and it's the cutest thing!

Aw, Meg, Amphitrite is SUCH a sweetie! She's definitely one of the cutest toddlers I've seen in a story for a long time!

You're doing great!
