Vampires tutoring children

I'm not sure if this is a glitch, or part of the game, but my vampire sim, who I am trying to supermax logic with, is not likely to be able to get the challenge for tutoring children. She tutors them for only a minute or two, and then is done. From a flat C grade to a straight A grade. I suspected this is what may be happening, so in a duplicate file, I even tried adding the sims to the household first to see what was going on. This will be very handy for future heirs, but a nuisance for my challenge I think I'm going to have to pick another athletic one.
