Well, I'm looking forward to this, Vinyl. This will be an interesting feature for storytelling purpose (if permission is given).
That will make an awesome story with the Sims genetic that you had.
Everything I put in the swap shop is restriction free - I'm always amazed anyone is interested enough to download it, let alone use it in something!  :D  I'll put up all of the Fyings at the end of the dynasty, but I won't toss up ancestors unless anyone requests them specifically.  There's no point sharing a sim nobody wants!

This is fascinating! The genetics aspect of the game has always intrigued me, and this takes it to an extreme. Love it!
Thanks!  After dozens of kids from one couple during the baby boomer challenge, I still don't understand the game's genetics, but I've discovered it sure is fun to play with!  The one thing I'll always want to know is why the black hair mutation?  My baby boomer couple were ancestor-free fresh Create-a-sims, one blond, the other brunette.  They produced several kids with black hair during the challenge.  Baffling stuff!

Oh my! Between this and the hideous dynasty, my husband has gotten worried I'll be dropping -interesting- sims into my games.
Great way to study genetics though!
Start mild, try some gateway interesting sims - a larger than normal nose, some micro-ears.  Before you know it you'll never be satisfied with the usual potato faces again!  ;) Oh - and share them with us if you get a chance.  I'm always looking for genetic diversity for my games!

This is great fun to look at! And thanks for the heads-up about mind-melding. I didn't know they could pick up skills.

Well, Morta is not a bad looking Sims. I'm kinda like her. It's really nice to see the power of Genetic ;D

Vinyl, you have to feed the Immortals Ambrosia. It's part of the challenge. If you ignore that and just let them use Death Flowers, you fail.

If you have nerds in the house, that might be the cause of the dropping relationships. I catch my Nerds running round Berating Ignorance all the time. It's the most annoying autonomous interaction I have seen that can happen to anyone, regardless of traits.

Rosa is right.  Ambrosia is what makes an immortal an immortal.  It has to be eaten every 20 or so days.   Deathflowers are only in case the day they eat ambrosia is the day death comes calling or they do something that causes them to die unexpectedly.  Anyone who uses deathflowers instead of ambrosia isn't following the spirit of the challenge.

Wow, that's good to know!  The immortals are having an ambrosia party as soon as I load the game again.  At least now I know what a future heir's supermax is going to be.

Berating ignorance is a possibility for the household strife, but I'm thinking it has more to do with Morta's traits.  I've noticed her relationships are quite volatile in nature, jumping up and down a lot even in the same conversation.  She's dramatic, which might be it?  Everyone else gets along fantastically even though they're all nerd supremes.

No it's her job!   She has the blue glow which effects relationships like the Empire of Evil does.

For Mendel!

Before we meet heir four, we have to meet the lips of heir three properly.

Now that's a pout!

With that taken care of, here's her daughter, Petra Fying!

Her face and her body don't match

She supermaxed gardening and became a rock star.  Which was a quick and easy career to take her through, but I forgot sims don't go to work once they become rock stars.  Now she leads a wild and stir crazy lifestyle at home all day, every day.  Oops!

Her size is from her father, but the gazongas are still 100% Fying

Not much happened with her, other than the parrot who sunk a possible supermax.  With the nerd plague in full swing I was considering adopting Orange Iguana's jail/isolation concept either temporarily or permanently.  Since Petra was my controlled heir of the moment, I had her interact wtih a parrot to see if that could keep the social needs up without risking skills (computers now have chess on all of them, and the TV is too many channels of temptation).  While she was teaching him to sing he was apparently teaching her to talk, because she finished the interaction with three ranks of charisma!

The parrot got sold but it was too late.  The charisma horse had already left the barn.  Within a week she was up to rank six just from interacting with the household.  At this point I've written off charisma as a lost cause - she hasn't maxed it yet, but when I last checked I think she was already at level nine!

Hank the part-time paparazzi and full-time hustler

In an effort to keep the nerd herd from berating each other all the time I've given the house a pool table, a hot tub, and each immortal a personal VR machine that lives in their inventory.  I even broke down and made four bedrooms, discovering in the process they weren't getting any nice vista buffs because the manor had no windows.  Oops again!  Despite all of these tempting items they still spend much of their time in the main room, interrupting each other's rocking session to alternately talk about the heat and then berate each other's ignorance.

Meanwhile the paparazzi are bedazzled by jaw-dropping Boxington Manor and forget to go home.  It's like their shift ends, they turn into regular homeless sims, and then they just stand on the lawn forever.  They'll help themselves to a game of pool, like hustler Hank, or they might just stand around until they pass out.  Sometimes they catch fire to liven things up a bit, but the strangest part of it is the only sims who notice are the maids - the household doesn't see them they way they would see proper visitors or proper paparazzi.  Not sure what's causing this strange sim-limbo on the lawn, but it can be entertaining at times!

No it's her job!   She has the blue glow which effects relationships like the Empire of Evil does.
I think it's an unlucky combination of the glow, the ignorance berating, and her dramatic trait taking greater than normal offence over the insult.  Every now and again I have her smooth her relationships with everyone just so she doesn't revert to bare-knuckle boxing.  I'm starting to dislike nerd influence quite a bit.

Morta's shirt is very pretty!
Thanks!  I love that pattern, but it's got so much colour baked into it it's hard to recolour.  It felt like a good fit for a dramatic psychic.

I know how you feel about trying to control who gains what skill. I forced my sims to watch a crappy tv most of the dynasty to ensure no one gained any skillpoints in skills I was unwilling to leave open. And once charisma is out of the box, it's gone forever.

Awwe, they're not as 'Fying' anymore~
Are they all going to be female?

The two ancestors I mentioned in my earlier post I wouldn't mind having if you still have them around^^
Also, when you look in the mirror in the bottom facial picture of Morta's, you can actually see the lip curl some. Do you know where you got that pattern, and where I can get it?

I didn't think of the bad televisions as an option - good call.  I tried pet rocks after the parrot because I remember how addicted previous sims got to them, but it doesn't raise social unfortunately.  However, they're a great fun raising alternative!

Yuppers, they're all going to be ladies, partly for speed nooboos, but mostly because I want to see how the chest slider does or does not mutate down multiple female generations.  I'll be sure to upload those two sims, no problem!  And the pattern is in the themed section.  In it's original form I think the background is grey and the flower/leaves are bright blue, pink, yellow, maybe green?  It's very psychedelic.

For Robotics!

Generation five finally ate her ambrosia!  Meet Magna Fying!

Just kidding - that's obviously her dad

The game glitches in odd ways from time to time.  So far it's been relatively co-operative, but it likes to make invisible sims when I first load the family.  A quick shower makes them visible again, thankfully.  Apart from the occasional crash the only other odd bug I've encountered was Morta contracting a severe case of can't-sleep-clowns-will-eat-me-itis.  During her childhood years she could rock in a rocking chair but couldn't nap.  The game would bounce her off the rocker every single time she tried.  She could only rock and use alternative energy sources (spa packages, sleeping in class, etc) to keep from passing out.  Luckily that issue went away the next time the game booted!

Magna is the first fully normal sim.  It's disappointing to see the odd genetics stop, but at least she's cute

I knew the time would come when standard genetics would dominate.  If this wasn't a challenge with limited space Morta would've had many more nooboos.  I think her genetics show great promise - I love her cheeks and her stubborn chin.  Heck, I think she's pretty great already (though I'd probably tone her ears down and fix the bizarre issue with her lips).

The genie outfit was the first one I found that showed her muscle definition tummy.  The dresser was slow when she picked her outfit, and I didn't want to risk the memory for a top and bottom selection.

With most of the facial oddness swallowed up by normalcy, I'm keeping tabs on the body sliders now.  It seems the muscle definition slider is holding pretty strong and the chest slider is untouched.  I expected the chest, but am quite surprised by all the six packs the ladies are displaying.  Normally it's one of the first features to disappear in my multi-generational games.

Magna experiences the dynasty's first alien encounter

Magna was my first dynasty inventor.  The huge numbers required for the skill challenges always intimidated me, but they didn't take anywhere near as long as I'd feared to complete.  Thanks to Laurel Grisby, hidden superstar of this dynasty, everything she needed for the master invention had already been gathered.  Laurel trained her inventing skill to level ten just for the pink diamond locator part of the simbot quest chain, and luckily managed to find it right away.  It sat on a place of honour on the alchemy shelves next to a palladium bar.

Hank the hustler takes the opportunity to look badass while Magna works on her detonations

Since I never play inventors this was the first time I saw the domino of dishwasher detonations in action (so cool!) or tried the hunter-killer jet for scrap trick (so. much. scrap.).  Magna only had a list of five inventions discovered by the time she completed the skill challenges.  She made rotational pulls for the widget, keeping one improved one to spin around on her workbench.

Even SimBots love hygienator sparkles!

Her simbot turned out to be a daughter, Ashley.  I wish she could've hung around rather than being released right away.

Ashley in disguise

Turns out I got my wish but didn't know it.  The game kept making talking simbot sounds, which made no sense because only the family and lost paparazzi were on the lot.  At last I discovered an elderly lady with a strange voice and moused over to see Ashley Fying, Paparazzi!  I don't know where she got the suit (or the skin, for that matter), but she's still very much a simbot.  Talks like one, moves like one (including the rotating hands), and thinks like one.

Morta manages to offend even with a great private reading - she didn't know the car was Ashley's cousin

I had an immortal befriend her and she's spent the night a few times.  Whether she's invited over or shows up in her paparazzi role she's always an elderly lady in appearance, never her simbot self.  I need to think of ways to get her to change out of her career outfit without shorting her with water - my guess is her simbot suit is in her other clothing categories.  Hmm, I wonder what she would wear if it was snowing outside...

Petra started playing after he caught fire.  That's how little the immortals notice the limbo paparazzi on the lawn!

The limbo paparazzi situation remains unchanged.  Fortunately the showers are built with arches instead of doors, letting the sims who catch fire put themselves out when the maid isn't around.  If I really want to get rid of the lingering sims my immortals can invite them inside then ask them to leave, but they just show up for work the next day and get stuck again.  It's almost easier to leave them on the lawn all the time, and the game performance doesn't seem to be suffering from unroutable sims.  They can move freely - they just never leave.

Boxington Manor gets renovated and renamed:  All hail glorious Boxgienator Manor!

Thanks to Magna's inventing skill the manor is truly a wonder.  Why would she sell her hundred floor hygienators when they could be put to use?  They only puff when a sim steps on them, so I haven't noticed any performance issues with having so many on the ground.  The family stays clean, minty, tranquil, and new car-y all the time now.  They've even been stashed under the experimental crib (+15 strangely powerful), which leads to oodles of happiness points and the unusual side effect of nauseous nooboos and toddlers.  The babies don't do anything other than suffer the nauseous moodlet, but the toddlers crawl onto the lawn when the nauseous timer counts down.

This is how toddlers get rid of the nauseous moodlet - eye crossing.  So cute!

The benefits of baby hygienation outweigh the drawbacks - instead of the usual couple hundred happiness points they have when childhood rolls around, the next generation is rocking up to childhood with 6k+ happiness points.  A toybox purchase or two later, they've got enough for the simmunity reward.  This might be the cleanest group of immortals ever!

She is looking so normal for me. I'm kinda surprised and a little disappointed to see how this thing. I hope that the odd genetic still be there in the next generation. Congratulation for Magna though! That was surely fast! Wow, you're so cool Vinyl! Are you playing at fast speed or something?

Well, good luck. There are still 3 generations left!
