Empire of Evil- 4/30/13, Chapter 19

Empire of Evil
The Abanndon Family

Introduction:

I have been playing Sims for a while, but this is my first ‘official’ attempt at a story.  One of my favorite things is watching the generations grow in a family.  I have a specific type of Sim I normally like to make, mainly because it’s what I know.  I like the more… easy-going personality traits or I suppose you could call them the ‘good’ traits such as Good, Brave, Ambitious, Genius, etc.  I decided to do something a bit different this time.  I purposely went about making an Evil Sim with the intention of having her be an Evil Genius, become a criminal and get to be Emperor of Evil.  I fully intend to see how many generations follow in her footsteps.  One thing that will be a common denominator is that at least one member of each generation will have the Evil trait and they will all become a Criminal.  Whether that will be their LTW remains to be seen.  So, without further ado: I give you the Abaddon Family!

Prologue: Felicia, the founder

Felicia Abaddon

Felicia Abaddon is a young woman that has lived in Riverview all her life.  She never knew her parents; she was an orphan.  Though a genius, she didn’t bother applying herself in high school.  She found most everyone frightfully boring; she DID enjoying tormenting some of them though.  When she was old enough, she performed various odd jobs for the local crime syndicate.  She earned enough to eventually purchase her own home.

The Abaddon family starter home

Now, she works full time for the syndicate and dreams of becoming the leader.  She has some work to do, however, to prove herself to these hardened criminals and she’ll have to work her way up through the ranks.

Promotion in the Criminal career track (Cutpurse, level 2)

Whoops!  Got arrested!

Doing her best to get in shape for work; maybe next time she can actually avoid being arrested

Arrested, again!  But she's not worried; she likes to flirt with the guys at the station.

Uh oh!  Can't flirt her way outta this one!

She’s taken her licks, eluded the cops… not eluded the cops when they needed a fall-guy.  Felicia is slowly climbing the ladder.  In her personal life, she tends to do things with minimum fuss; she won’t even really cook for herself, preferring premade foods.  But she DOES like to cause mischief with her ‘friends’ and neighbors.  She’s not adverse to people; they have their uses.  She’s looking for a distraction, so she decides that Aiden Jones would be the perfect distraction… problem is, he’s married.  That’s no problem for her.  It’d be quite the game to use his wife in order to help seduce him!

Not much of a cook, prefers quick meals as much as possible

Felicia is diabolical!  She is attempting to befriend Hannah Jones in order to lure her husband to her so that she can have a bit of fun…

Her seduction has begun!

Having grown tired of cleaning her home, wasting her time when it could be better spent thinking of new diabolical plans, training her athletic skill, and just generally practice being evil, Felicia hired a maid service.  Never did she think that that rather simple thing would so drastically change her life…

Chapter 1: So Begins the Empire

Felicia isn’t so much a snob, as she is mostly oblivious to people in general.  However… there was something about the one who cleaned her home.  He wasn’t deterred by her evil nature; he actually went out of his way to talk to her.  Despite herself, not only was she attracted to him (after all, she was no stranger to attraction) but there was something else as well, something she had never experienced before nor ever thought she would.  Before she knew it, things were moving at a whirlwind pace!

But wait!  What's this?  Who is this handsome young man?  Felicia finds herself more than just attracted to him… which is odd for her

A date!

Their first kiss!

Though she never believed it possible, Felicia proposed marriage, wanting to spend the rest of her life with Rudolph

They just couldn't wait; their attraction and desire couldn't be contained!

What had she done?  Had Felicia actually… fallen in love?  It appeared that she had.  And she and Rudolph were getting married!  An actual wedding!  For the first time, she felt a bit faint and a little sick…

Hm… what's this?  Could it just be pre-wedding jitters?  Or something else?

Finally, the wedding came around.  They invited a few people they knew from work and around the neighborhood.  Even Hannah Jones came, just to make sure that Felicia had no more designs on her husband…  The wedding was beautiful and Felicity was so happy!  It was like nothing she had ever experienced.  It –almost- made her want to turn over a new leaf… though not quite.

Wedding

Meet Rudolph Abaddon, ne Nixon:

His personality traits: Neurotic, brave, neat, kleptomaniac, charismatic
LTW: International Super Spy

Yes… Felicia’s new husband, the only man- person even- she had ever loved, aspired to be a cop.  Love allowed her to overlook this aberration, just as his love for her allowed him to overlook her criminal activities.  Is it possible for the two of them to remain married, with such different views?  Only time will tell…

For those who are curious about Felicia:  She also celebrated her birthday to adulthood shortly before meeting Rudolph.  Here is her picture.

Her personality traits: Evil, Genius, Athletic, Rebellious, Hot-headed
LTW: Of course, Emperor of Evil

Nice choice for a bride. Looking upon his traits it's make me laugh when he want to be International Super Spy lol [Kleptomaniac].
It is just me? It's seem that Felicia hair color is somehow different than she was before  :o

Lol, yeah, that's what I found funny too.  What was even better was that I had nothing to do with his LTW... I didn't change it.  He moved in, and that's what it was.  I burst out laughing when I saw that XD

No, she always had the highlights in her hair, but when she went to adult, her hairstyle changed and I think it shows it more like that.

Chapter 2: Baby Evils

Apparently, it wasn’t just nerves the day of their wedding that had her praying to the porcelain watchers!  Not long after they had gotten settled in together, Felicia found out she was pregnant!

The nursery that they added onto the house after they found out she was expecting

Rudolph giving his wife a message because he loves her

Now the two can only wait for the day that their child is born.  Felicia found herself anticipating the birth much more than she could ever have imagined.  She had never really thought about children before, but now that she had a husband whom she loved, she found herself very excited about the prospect of having a child, someone to share what she knew.  Someone… she could leave a legacy to.  Rudolph was just as happy, though his neurotic tendencies would be tested to the limit with a child to worry about!

Nowhere was this more evident than when Felicia went into labor.  Rudolph panicked and just flapped his arms… it was up to Felicia herself to do what had to be done.

But soon enough, after a relatively painless labor, Felicia gave birth to a healthy baby boy!  They named him Devin.  Welcome to the family Devin!  Isn’t he cute?

Though she didn't think it possible for herself, Felicia loves her son and her little family.  But she can't wait to return to work so that her dream of ruling the criminal empire of Riverview can be realized… hm… maybe her son could follow in her footsteps…

Rudolph loves his son, but he wonders what will happen with their little family… He and his wife are on opposite sides of the law… can he keep his son on the straight and narrow, keep his wife out of trouble without it ruining their marriage?

The two take turns caring for their son.  It works well, since Rudolph works during the day and most of Felicia’s activities are done at night.  Luckily for the two of them, Devin grows quick and before they know it, he’s a toddler!

A proud mama teaching her boy how to walk

A proud papa teaching his son to talk

Aside from raising their son, both Felicia and Rudolph are steadily climbing the ladders of each of their careers.  It is a pretty thin line to walk for the two of them.  Somehow, they’ve managed to avoid each other in a professional capacity.  How long will it last though?  How long can they avoid the deeper issues?
Felicia continues to climb the ladder in the evil crime syndicate.  This is after her promotion to evil sidekick

Nice update! Welcome to the family, Devin! Hope you will fit well!

This is interesting law and evil in one household.
So, Devin will be take Felicia footstep in the future and it's really decided? Poor, Devin :P
I wish that Devin can choose what is right and true for himself. Felicia should have another nooboo lol.

*grins* You'll just have to wait and see.  I'm actually letting each member decide their LTW; the only stipulation is that each generation will have an Emperor of Evil.  I have one more update for today, then I'm caught up with what I've played so far.  Only issue is... I'm having issues with my game.  I put up a topic in technical help section, so I'll see if I get a reply.  *grumbles about not getting to play more*

Chapter 3: Growing Pains

Time sure flies.  Before they knew it, their little boy went from a toddler much too quick!

He definitely got his mother’s hair color.  Not sure whose eyes he takes after, but his skin tone is actually in between.

Devin is quite the precocious child.  He’s pretty ambitious, so doing homework is pretty instinctual and easy.  He most definitely took after his mother, though.  He enjoys pranks and to be evil in general.
It's already apparent that young Devin is a smart kid

However, he can get a bit out of hand, at times.  Even his evilly inclined mama can get angry at him at times…

Mama and Papa scold their wayward child

Felicia's birthday!  Her hair is gray… but somehow, she thinks it works.  Makes her more distinguished.  After all, the Emperor of Evil needs to be distinguished, right?  There is no talk of retiring in her near future… or at all in fact.

Even with the building tension because of their professions, Rudolph and Felicia continue to enjoy a happy marriage.

Life was good, life was very good.  Finally, after all her hard work, her ambition was realized.  Felicia had fulfilled her wish of becoming the Emperor of Evil!  She was the most powerful force in Riverview now!  (Everyone knew it was the crime syndicate that controlled everything, even if no one wanted to admit it, of course.)

She's done it!  After a lot of hard work, deception, double-dealing, and betrayal, Felicia is now the Emperor of Evil, the leader of the crime syndicate.

But an adage that Felicia had believed all her life came back to haunt her: Just when you think that things are going your way, the Watcher sees fit to throw a wrench into the works.  Rudolph entered adult-hood.  He had been steadily rising in his own career and as he did so, it was becoming more apparent that the current status quo could not continue.

It's Rudolph's birthday!  Hm… it appears this has brought on a Midlife Crisis and has made him really think about things…

One day, after he came home, he took his wife’s hand in his and looked her in the eye.

Then, he told her he loved her with all his heart… BUT, something had to change.  He wanted her to give up her life of crime so that they could be happy.

Perhaps, if he had found a different way to word it, or hadn’t specifically asked her to give up the dream she had held for so very long, and worked so very hard to achieve, it wouldn’t have come to what it did.  But as soon as he said it, Felicia’s heart seemed to break.  When Felicia is upset, her Hot-headed nature leads to some very rash decisions.  When she erupted at him, he only grew angry and some very heated exchanges followed.  Felicia filed for divorce and then kicked Rudolph out, promising he would never see his son again, not while she lived.

Felicia mourns her loss in the only way she knows how; by hardening her heart and refusing to ever love again.  Aside from her criminal empire, she will focus her attention on her son, who is now a teenager.  She will mold him into her perfect successor and he will keep the Empire running for generations to come…

*****

Author's Note:  I didn't actually intend for this to happen.  Since Felicia became Emperor of Evil, she had these moments where she glowed red...  Well, Rudolph was trying to interact with her and something happened where IMMEDIATELY their relationship meter went all the way to red and I tried to have them make up, but it just made it worse.  It was actually quite sad...  As stated in my comment, I am all caught up to where I had stopped playing.  I would like to play some today, but my game is not cooperating.  Hoping to get some feedback on what the problem is from the technical help section, so hopefully, I'll be able to play soon then get another update for you folks.
