Does anybody else think the exotic eggs are pretty naff? You can't fridge them so they go bad. I've no idea what to do with them other than sell them :/ Would have been nice if you could cook awesome food with them or even plant them.. I just put them on the shelf and watch them go grey  :-[

Haven't had the chance to play with this, at all, but curiosity compels me to ask:

Will cats eat the chickens? I've had cats eat the pet Large Birds, but I don't generally play with cats.

As far as I know there isn't any pet interaction.

I might be wrong but I think the point of them is getting 1,500 simoleons for your Sim.

I'm sure you are right.  Enjoy the naff moodlet for a little while or sell and get the §1,500.

Leave the eggs for a few days and you get chicks.

You can play with the chicks

Eventually the chicks grow up and fly the coup.  I didn't see that happen but got the notification.

The last time I played, my sim harvested the eggs and one was exotic . It looks like the only option that I get is " Gift " . I wonder what would've happened, if the eggs were left there for hatching . Does anyone know ?

Really liking this item so far. I've only harvested a few times and my eggs are already up to Outstanding! Once I can plant meats and go fishing I'll have perfect meals all the time without trying. : D (I know you can plant eggs, but this is more fun.) I haven't gotten any exotic eggs yet or any chicks but I'm sure that will come in time.

I think it's Brittish... yup

British slang, today meaning uncool, tacky, unfashionable, worthless... or as a softer expletive, in places where one might use [a curse] as in "naff off", "naff all",
         "naffing about"

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Naff

My father in law uses it as an expletive all the time.

I have to say that the new top for elder females is really great. If you are interested in elder clothes and not the whole set, I highly recommend it.

It looks like after you get chicks, you go from 4 eggs per harvest to 5. Also, I discovered that you can roast eggs at the fire pit.

Sorry to double post, but this is several days later.  Anyway, according to SimsVip, the chicken coop is for sale separately, in game. I haven't tried checking this, and don't know if it would show up for me, since I already have it. The price is 600 simoleons.

You mean SimPoints, right? This is wonderful! Thank you! Now I have to see if the other Premium Content I want that's tied to a venue is also available. This could change everything!

EDIT: Oh my gosh Marian, you have so improved my life. The following Premium Content, normally tied to a venue/set and unable for separate purchase, is available for purchase in game: the Chicken Coop, Dirty No More Changing and Bathing System, Gift of Speech Baby Monitor, and SwiftGro Gardening Station. I was very excited to see the Teppanyaki Grill as well but it is apparently available for separate purchase on the website now as well. Now the only problem is I don't have enough SimPoints to try buying any of these things!

So pleased I saw this, I liked the idea of chickens but not the whole set so I just got the coop and the elder female top and dress, I really didn't want more male dungarees in my game, what with Riverview and Pets I have more than enough townie sims wearing them, so glad I could get it all separately.

Rosa, thanks for letting me know about the other stuff. The Gardening Station was gone, but now that I know it's there occasionally, I'll look for it.

When I have the SimPoints, I will totally buy the chicken coop just so I can see the baby chicks face plant on the ground like I see in that picture up there.

Ok so I bought both the greenhouse and the market and right now feeling pretty stupid. I found them in edit town but I can't for the life of me figure out how to plop them into the down. They say no interractions available if I try to place them. What are the exact steps involved? Sorry I'm such a newb!
