Oh my gosh, oh my GOSH, OH MY GOSH! CHICKENS!!!! Sorry for the yelling, but CHICKENS!!! I've been wanting more farm stuff for ages.

*runs away to do the chicken dance*

...they should totally have that, too. I'd love to see my sims doing a chicken dance!

I think it could've been better with a new produce in the game though - say a goat and from it you could have goats milk, different cheeses, milkshakes... Etc. going off on a tangent slightly!
If they ever give us goats, I will be the first person to buy one, mark my words.

And I'm not thinking so much for my farmer sims, but for my government-conspiracy-believing-living-off-the-grid-yelling-at-kids-to-get-the-heck-off-of-his-lawn-dag-nabbit sims. Although, I'm sure if I had farmer sims, they'd get a lot of use out of it.

You know, I would consider paying 1250 for this set if it came with a new Corn plantable. I'm just saying. I think that would be a brilliant combination.

You know the Country Livin' set is not bad either, I do love the outfits as I am love country side style.
But, I just want my premium content...

I'll better watch this in the future if they consider to sold the item separately *waiting list*

I love this Chicken Coop! I'm not so sure about the set itself but I want chicken! And with a new corn it would be so cool. Maybe someday we get cows and goats and pigs and all the animals which normaly walk around on a farm.

And think of the destruction a goat could cause! Eating plants and they would have to have them eating clothes from the washing line *squeals*

I'm warming to my own idea, he he.

I'm playing Agnes Crumplebottom and we decided to get the chicken house.  Yes this is Agnes with a makeover.

She gets to ask the 'wise chicken' a question (preset by EA) and get a nice moodlet (Universal Enlightenment) for the answer - not an actual answer that we see.  Still it's a nice buff at +30 for 5 hours.  Also sometimes she gets a rare exotic egg which comes with a +20 moodlet (Egg-Static) if placed in the inventory but the exotic egg can go bad and become rotten.

The eggs harvested seem to be like the honey in the bee boxes in that it takes time for the eggs to increase in quality.

We haven't argued with the evil chicken yet.

I got this set the other day.  I was testing a build with Leto's "Max Skills" butler sim, and he got beat up by a chicken.  So much for his perfect martial records now, lol.

I heard maybe the chicken coop was available by it's self in the in-game store?  Is that true?  here is a link, but of course since I already own it just gives me the option to download not to purchase.

No, unfortunately - the other items in the set are, but not the coop itself. Hats off to SimsVIP for putting up the starting and ending product numbers so that I could add individual items to my wishlist (other than the coop of course).

I'm honestly not sure how much use I'd have for the coop, but the lure of an evil chicken is just too tempting to ignore. :P

This looks like an awesome addition to a country-style Sims house and that they've included Elder wear is so nice!  Playing an immortal dynasty, one becomes keenly aware of the dearth of elder clothing!

Plus it's another activity to keep bored immortals busy.  heh.  Go pester the chickens and leave your watcher alone!

I'm really not into country life or farming but I thought I would try this set.  I'm glad I did, the first half hour of game play gave me a real laugh.

My current household has a mean spirited, hotheaded Sim. The coop seems to have a high autonomous attraction and he was immediately drawn to it. Of course he had to pick a fight with Charles the evil chicken.  Charles promptly kicked his butt.

The part that gave me a laugh though was the interaction with a zombie.  There was a full moon the first night the coop was on my lot. A few zombies appeared and one was drawn to the coop. He stood there and it appeared he was complaining to Charles about being sleepy and his aching back. There he stood, the poor, tired zombie and of course Charles had to take him on.  When the dust cleared the poor zombie went limping off the lot.

I really didn't expect zombie interaction.

Just picked this up last night, looks cool in-game but haven't had the chance to use it yet! It looks amazing and I'm really looking forward to using it with my horsewoman Sim.

Haven't had the chance to play with this, at all, but curiosity compels me to ask:

Will cats eat the chickens? I've had cats eat the pet Large Birds, but I don't generally play with cats.

I haven't tried this with a cat, but I'm pretty sure they won't. You can't really interact with the chickens -- you click on the coop for feeding them and talking to them. I doubt the cat will have any interactions with the coop, but until I try it, I can't be sure.
