NPC and playable characters
« on: April 03, 2013, 11:01:13 AM »
Hi all,

I know someone answered my post here about non playable characters and playable characters but what I want to know is if I have 4 sims living in a house and they are all active and played by me and I invite another sim in as a roommate as a 5th will that knock a slot off and will one of the sims become an NPC since its an odd amount?  I know I heard you can have 8 slots filled with sims in a household, does that mean it has to be an even amount and 4 have to be playable and 4 non playable or does it matter at all? I have version 1.50 which I assume is the latest patch with no expansion packs.

Hope that makes sense, thank you :)

The only numbers that matter is 8 Sims within a household (this includes controlled and roommates).  Being even or odd doesn't even come into effect.   Once you hit the 8, you just simply can't get anymore roommates or anymore Sims in the house.
