The house is so cute, even if the frieze does make it impractical. Although I have to ask, what's with the giant dog bone? The view from the hot tub is just gorgeous! And beautifully framed with the plants. Poor, poor Rosalyn.

I love the look of terror/condemnation in Rosalyn's eyes.

Haha, yeah nothing quite beats seeing the father of your about-to-be-born-child leaving you in labour.  ;)

Thank you! Yeah she's got very nice genes, luckily they pass down.. Well if you can find them amongst Tris'.. ;)

Thanks! :) Lol, don't ask it was more of a.. Why not? Moment. :P Yeah I liked the hot-tub but sadly for them they no longer have one.

It wasn't long after Tris left the building that another entered. The sparkles came and with it a little boy called Stephen Jade! Although his actual name at the time was Munson seeing as Tris and Rosalyn were not married at that moment in time but the name was shortly changed to match the Dynasty name. He was born with Insane and Loves the Outdoors, his favourites being: Dark Wave, French Toast and Lilac.

Whilst expanding their house for a nursery it really did hit home of how awkward this house was. It took nearly 30 minutes for Rosalyn to go from the easels downstairs to the nursery. That and as a very picky builder I had the sense that I didn't like it for some reason. I assume it was just the playability or possibly the colours.

This was the image that confirmed in my mind that Stephen is in fact a rainboo! It's a tough call seeing as at times he is red, others he is pink and then orange. With the lighting of Lucky Palms you can't ever be quite sure but this picture has him with a redish-orange hue.

Both parents spent time with their little ball of orange, Rosalyn was the primary care giver due to her not working for most of the time he was awake. Tris was slaving away at the easel when he wasn't slaving away at work.

Other vaguely notable events were the development of the garden by Rosalyn and the painting of Strawberry's portrait. You may wonder what happens in Strawberry's life in the household - well taking screenshots of a cat falling in a pond in the quest for Deathfish just isn't that interesting.. Which is basically all she does. Once she got two deathfish she was allowed to spend her time however she wanted. Throughout the entire Dynasty a strong relationship with Tristan was kept due to him supplying her social needs.

Tris and Rosalyn were very content with each other, often just ending up in the hot-tub together when I didn't realise they had stopped painting.

Rosalyn gained a new interest for bee-keeping. Of which I was fairly horrified when I suddenly saw the deep red of her icon, assuming she was starving or drowning in something. Luckily she was just being swarmed!

The little red nooboo aged up to a toddler eventually, resulting in one of the most awesome results possible: Rainbow Slider, Awesome Eyes and Elf Ears! I would have been happy to just have one of the three but I got all three! The only major thing I've noticed from his Mother is his hair colour, I'm not sure he has any of her facial features either.

A new house appeared before long, it's large but not large at the same time. The main priority was routing and space for actions to occur. Decorations are a minor detail but I don't think the house looks undecorated. I actually quite like this house and it's good to play, lots of space to grow into should the family need it.

Not sure when these pictures were taken exactly but it was definitely before Stephen was a teenager. As a greenhouse appeared when he became a teenager. Judging by one room in particular this is when Stephen was still a toddler.

The entrance features all of the Cat's required items as well as later on a fish tank to breed Deathfish in.

To the left of the entrance hall is the kitchen and dining room. The Kitchen is separate to prevent anyone learning cooking which Tris managed to get to level 4 in without my knowledge. He refuses to eat anyone else's pancakes he has to have his own.. The kitchen looks different now though due to another attempt at speeding up routing, mainly for spares and spouses though - another door is in the kitchen leading to a deck with a spiral staircase that leads upstairs. It does allow Immortals to move quicker between the bathroom above the painting room. (Another door is now leading into the painting room as well)

The painting room is only temporary, it's main purpose is a skill room. As both adults in the house are painters they have the easels in there. When an heir comes along that needs say sculpting stations there will be a shift in equipment. It is the biggest room in the house I think, hence why the playpen is in the middle there. There are another 3 walls of easels not shown.

Off the painting room is the nursery. Why there? The space in the skill room allows easier and faster routing for teaching to walk and any other space using interactions. Since the Nursery is smaller. When there are no infants in the household the nursery will be packed up into the inventory.

There is another larger hallway meant for more space for routing as it's the main access to upstairs. It has a fireplace and sofas for any reading etc. As well as access to the laundry room and downstairs bathroom.

Each Immortal will have a bunk to sleep in, this way I'll be less tempted to decorate a bedroom for each Immortal. There's also a room of supersleepers for a quick charge.

There are other rooms - bathrooms etc. As well as a large empty living room. Should I need a room to lock Immortals in when they are done that will be where they go. However most will have careers and so far have skills to keep them busy for a long time (Painting and Gardening). I can always expand into a basement level but I hope not. There is also a large balcony above the unused living room that can be a party deck etc.

Sadly I forgot to take any birds-eye shots to help you understand the layout of the house but when they get back to their house I will! Currently Tris is unleashing his onesie fashion on the lectures of Sims 3 University! I have actually forgotten what his everyday wear is for Elder by now..

Thank you! :)

Sorry for it being such a long time since my last update, I've gone head-first into the Exam Preparation and soon into the Exam Season. So a lot of stress for me but a three-day weekend to relax now! Hopefully I will have an update ready this weekend. Stephen is a YA in Game so I definitely have the pictures - it's just finding the time to write it all up between other priorities.

You may recall my mentioning of Tris and Rosalyn often escaping to the hot-tub, well there were repercussions for such excursions. Although it was to be a very joyful repurcussion: an addition to the family!

With childhood approaching it was time to make sure Stephen got all of his skills ready to allow me to choose his third trait. His Mother got the worst job of potty training and obviously Tris got the one of teaching him to talk. I still question the logic behind that decision, an insane sim who will randomly start rambling teaching his son how to talk..

Tris is getting closer and closer to supermaxing his skill, he has his property, will soon be able to afford his business and the Opps are flying in. He also has a stockpile of six BFF elixirs, simply because ain't nobody got time for socialising properly.

Stephen was a very cute red toddler, even if he was constantly stinking out the place.

Get's it from his Mother.. She's always stinking because she's always in the Garden, or cleaning Stephen. The only time she showers is when Tris is home. Rosa got a harvester at the Consignment register and is now just getting the garden in a fit shape for when her son takes over and needs some decent starting harvestables to plant. That and the harvester makes collecting the sunshine so much quicker!

The compulsory shot of the toddler eating throwing food at his face:

Stephen isn't just any normal red, pointed eared, turquoise eyed toddler. He's a magical red, pointed eared, turquoise eyed toddler! Inheriting his witchyness from his Father just adds to the list of cool traits he has.

I'm sure you all know of the saying: When it rains - it pours. Well that is so true.. What was meant to be a simple day-out to wipe the stir-crazy moodlet from Rosa's panel became the event of the year. I'd forgotten it was Tris' birthday!

So there they were, ready to celebrate his birthday with some dancing under the stars. Stephen was home with the babysitter and all was going fine. So naturally Rosa had to go into labour..

Then Tris aged up whilst his Wife was returning home to have a home-birth. Somehow it seems Agne's genes still exist in Tris because he got her hair, Tris the Hagness then went through a midlife crisis.. Who can blame him?

With the shock of the Hagness Hair I was suddenly dragged back to the house to witness the birth of their second child, it's a bouncing baby boy!

That you'll have to wait till next time to see.. Hehe!

Tris with Agnes hair, priceless. You should've kept it on him! It'd be hilarious as an elder.

Oh wow, Stephen is just fantastic! I love the color orange/red skin he got; I've yet to produce any rainboos in a similar skin tone. It's a great striking contrast to the eyes, too. The remodeled house looks awesome. You have a way with building homes, clearly. And Tris aging up with Agnes hair? Haha, how is that even possible? Poor guy must be traumatized. Can't wait to see the next nooboo!

Lol, I was considering it but I eventually had enough of it. When he aged up he retained his normal hairstyle as an Elder though so I don't know what this Adult thing was about. Happened to Faye Ravensgate as well - although that was worse. She completely glitched out.. Must be my game taking midlife crisis so seriously. :P

Thank you! :) Yeah, my games tend to be extremely boring for ages then very exiting for about four hours.

Thanks! If you think Tris is cute then you'll definitely think Stephen is, as far as I'm concerned it's just a different skin and hair colour that separates them!

Yeah, he's fairly awesome. ;) Thank you! Lol, I was shocked and I did leave it like that for about a week but it really just is unbearable even if it's hilarious. No pictures of that week though since nothing happened to Tris.. :P

Rosalyn and Tristan had a bouncing baby.. Green Boy. Welcome to the world Samuel Jade!

Both parents doted on Samuel, with Tristan giving him plenty of snuggles and Rosalyn cooing over the green child.

It's sometimes easy to forget about Strawberry, yet Tristan never does. Strawberry is perhaps the only sim to maintain a permanent full relationship bar with Tristan or anyone come to think of it! She spends most of her time out fishing so rarely features in any screenshots.

Of course after saying that she's going to be everywhere.. Tristan had a lot to do with his supermaxing and Rosalyn spent days learning cooking and gardening, therefore Stephen was plugged into the walker to learn by himself, maybe not as cute as watching the first steps but I'm sure he'll make it up for you all.

Tristan was also going to be the means in which the replicator would be upgraded, therefore the magic level had to be increased. Much to his delight of course. We have a while till the replicator can be bought but until then Tristan is practising on the various electronics and plumbing items around the house.

Rosa had her Elder birthday not long after Samuel was born.

Even though she now walked much slower and slightly crooked it didn't stop Rosalyn from caring for her two boys.. Even if they demanded a lot of attention. As an Elder she didn't know how much of her Boy's lives she would see, so she had to make the best of everyday.

Tristan completed Stephen's Toddler portrait:

And Samuel had his Toddler birthday, sadly we lost out on the Elf Ears but a memento of Rosalyn will live on through Samuel as he has her eyes and hair colour.

A party was thrown and it was so long ago that I have no idea who these Sims are! Although one of them is the maid, who should be working..

With the introduction of University Life to my games Tristan made a beeline for the juice.

Tristan got the job of potty training Stephen, it must have been a record time of around seven different times before Stephen finally learnt. Must be Tristan's teaching skills, he pees himself most of the time anyway.

Stephen's birthday soon came around, aging up into a child and adding the Neat trait to his Insane and Loves the Outdoors.

By now Tristan's requirements were under control and he was mostly waiting on another masterpiece and two brilliant paintings. With more time on his hands he spent it training Samuel in the vital skills. Even now currently in game Samuel still has the highest relationships with all members of the household, apart from one Sim but they've only just joined..
