I have one! In generations, when your sim ages to a kid, put their imaginary friend on the floor and they come alive! Only, keep them in your inventory when your sim goes to the bathroom because they always run in and embarrass you and you get the moodlet at school!
Everyone wants happiness
No one wants pain
But you cant have a rainbow
Without a bit of rain!

Something that I just tried the other day worked unexpectedly for me.

Children can read toddler skill books with the toddler. I had my Gen 3 Oid heir, Tabl read the painting toddler skill books with his future wife to be. Lucky him, he gets to potty train his future wife to be when he ages to teen. But I never realised that children could read toddler skill books with the toddler.

Another thing I discovered in recent days.

A paparazzi kept on coming up as my next opponent in chess. I found that by joining a rabbit hole career (in my case fortune telling) that the paparazzi became one of my work colleagues instead and would then play chess against me.

And a third.

If you are on a lot with the football (soccer to some) goal and click on your phone and call sim, you get an option to invite over next football (soccer) opponent.

All three were discovered quite by accident.

A fourth thing I just discovered with painting portraits. If you paint portraits on a standard easel, I've found that you can't move them up and down the wall (I knew this for quite some time). The thing that I've just discovered is the following: if you paint the portraits using the holographic easels that come with Into the Future, you can move them up and down the wall.

Hi, So this thread is really great and I found allot of useful things in here. Although is must be irritating having to go all the way through everything all the time. Everything needs to be in one post that's continuously edited.

To save some people time I've put everything together and headed each section.
Click the spoiler for the list of all tips and facts so far.

Hope this helps a bit :)

I don't know if anyone have noticed it before but, the fertility treatment LTR just available for YA and Adult. Elder sims can't have it and obviously babies to teen can't either.

Does that include Elder males?

Yup. What ratchie said. Elder sims mean include both gender female and male.

Small things I've noticed:
-If a ghost goes to past with a time machine from Ambitions, he or she might end removing his/her own death from history and come out alive.
-Fairies can go inside the claw machine and cheat with it to get valuable gems, money bags and the Gnome of the Darned.
-The weather machine can be used to get different weathers. However, they will not last long, which is a shame.
-Somehow, traps set by children or teens will never explode when the prankster himself uses the object.
-Easy trick to get many Mr. Mariner gnomes: simply visit the scuba places and investigate the chests again after they have refreshed, usually takes one or two days.

If a pregnant sim is sent to the hospital to have their baby and there is only a bike available on the home property, they will ride the bike to hospital rather than get a taxi.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but if you have a vampire sim you can send them to the grocery store to "raid" and they come out with around 5 - 6 plasma fruits for free! I have never found any negatives with this (like being caught by the police etc..) but maybe I have just been lucky!

I've done it before without any negative consequences for my vamps either. They can do the same to the Hospital too. :P

You can change your relationship with an ex-boyfriend from ex-boyfriend to friend by asking them to just be friends.

Well, preggers need all the exercises for you know, pushing the baby.  ;D

Anyway, did you know? In all of a sim birthday they will have new sets of clothes except for YA to Adult birthday. The clothes appear all just the same.
