@ Anna33 - Yeah #3's a firecracker.

Final Entry 13/ Immortal 1 - Vanilla

#5 - Before the birth of her granddaughter, Vanilla had some very important business to take care of. Grandma Vanilla came straight home from work after receiving her last promotion. Grandma walked straight into the kitchen and prepared Ambrosia. But before she ate it she had to tie up some loose ends.

~Vanilla's Time~
Finally after all the time and sacrifice I've finished. No.

We've finished and I'm just sad I took a little longer than expected and you're not here with me.

Were there always this many stairs?

I finished our story Agnes, did I make you proud? I hope so.

I kept my promise.

No more stalling. I guess it's time to finish this thing. Plus this Ambrosia is really making my clothes smell. Now we're did they install the door?

*click* Breathe just breathe.

Take a seat,chew and swallow.

Huh. Not bad, not bad at all. Kind of an acquired taste with a savory aftertaste with a-- Oh!

That was anti-climatic.

~Vanilla's Time - end~

#5 - Grandma wasn't done just yet. On her first official day of immortality she took her book down to her museum and then she was officially finished.

I've been following this dynasty, but I'm not great with commenting. Congrats on your first immortal!

No problem. I also love the idea of telling the story in the past tense and with the premise of the other immortals listening to the story. Probably should have mentioned that in my last comment, but oh well.

Immortal 8 (to be) -  *yawn* wow, how long has it been since we've been down here?

Immortal 7 (to be) - It feels like ages doesn't it?

Vanilla - You're telling me.

Immortal 5 - Whose turn is it to read?

Immortal 3 - *Excited* I'll volunteer!

Vanilla - mmmm...no. Immortal 4 you read this one.

Immortal 3 - Oh bother.

Immortal 4 -  Now then,

Entry 1/ Immortal 2 - Crimson

Immortal 4 - Crimson couldn't wait to be a mom. Infact, the very first person she told about her pregnancy was her father. She found him in his garden. Of course he was ecstatic about the news.

Later that night when Grandpa Snow  and Grandma Vanilla got home she told them the great news. He too was excited and took playing with the baby and talking to the baby. Here are some cute pictures of those moments.

Immortal 3 - Even before I was born I was entertaining people. I'm so amazing.

Immrotal 4 - Anyway, the day had come for my mother to be born. It was a hard labor.

Immortal 3 - What can I say, I was a stubborn baby.

Immortal 4 - In the end she was born. A happy healthy baby girl. It says something at the bottom of the page.

Crimon's Present ~

You are finally here. I couldn't wait to meet you and now that I have you you're more than I'd ever be able to wish for. Your daddy and I will always love you and keep you safe. Although we may not see eye to eye on everything know that I will always be on your side. Love, your mother Crimson to her new best friend Lavender Sundae.

Entry 2/ Immortal 2 - Crimson

Immortal 4 - Love was in the air with a new baby in the house.

Grandpa Gage adored his little Lavender. He spent most of his time with her. Their favorite activity was watching Romantic Rendezvous. He'd spend hours just explaining the plots and the inner workings of the films to her. She was his little star.

But little stars don't stay little forever. Just like they'd done when she was a little baby, Gage and Lavender continued to watch their shows even when she grew. Occasionally with Grandma Crimson.

Just like her father, Lavender was a charmer. She had her mother and grandpa entranced by the big blue eyes she inherited from both of them.

She knew this fact to be true. Whether it was being cranky after waking up or needing to eat big people food for breakfast. She exploited them.

Immortal 3 - I wasn't exploiting. They offered and I accepted.

I am loving this dynasty. I cannot wait to meet all the future heirs, and trying to guess if they're all girls or if one or two are boys. You're a great storyteller, and managed to make Sunset Valley different. Who is Snow's father?

Aaw thank you! I can't wait for you all to meet the rest of them. I don't think my storytelling is all that great. The idea is cool but I wish my skills as writer were a little stronger.  However, you guys love it and that encourages me to improve. Snow's father is shown in Agnes' museum gallery he can be seen holding him as a toddler.

Can someone tell me how to make the title line change? I see that when people update their stories before you click to view it they change the title to show they've updated their stories.

Entry 3/Immortal 2 - Crimson

Vanilla*yawning* - Been awhile hasn't it since we've all been down here?

All others agree

Immortal 7 (to be) - We've all been a little more busy these last few weeks. Especially you (pointing at immortal 8 (to be)) with your winter break and starting school again it's been hectic trying to get back into the groove. Yet, here we all are.

Lavender - Whose going to read my sto...I mean my mother's story?

Immortal 4 - I'm reading now mom.

Lavender*murmuring* - Ah yes I'd hoped you forgotten.

Immortal 4 - Forgetting is something I don't do.

Immortal 8 (to be) - Oh yeah. Just last week you forgot to pick me up from school and I had to walk home. In the rain.

Immortal 4 - On to the story then.

Lavender and Immortal 8 (to be) share winks as Immortal 4 begins to read.

Immortal 4 - Uh so, I believe we left off at the part where the habits my mom exhibits now started to manifest.

Lavender - Haha Immortal 4.

Immortal 4 - Haha mom. Now, grandma Crimson and grandpa Snow were such good parents. Grandma stressed to Lavender the importance of learning. Whilst grandpa was always there to play when she was stressed out.

Of course sooner, much sooner in fact, did grandma have to teach Lavender about death. They were at the library when grandma Crimson had the strangest feeling that something wasn't right. She started to cry a little.

But they were happy tears. In that instance she started telling Lavender about her grandfather Gage.

When they went home later that night her feeling was confirmed by Granny Nilles, Grandpa Gage had passed on. He was at rest with grandma Agnes now.

That night just like they'd always done they'd watched a little t.v. before laying Lavender down to sleep.

The good times continued in the household once the fall fair rolled around.

With her new found ability to form words into sentences Lavender was a very honest baby like all others.

~Crimson's Present time~
Lavender - Bald!
Sam Sekemoto*gasping*
Snow - No no dear that's not nice.
Lavender - No but he's bald.
Snow speeds off swiftly - I'm sorry sir.
Lavender - Someone stole his hair.
~Crimson's Present time/end~

Next came the costume party.

Immortal 8 (to be) - Aaaw grandma Lavender what was your costume at the party?

Lavender - Oh, I didn't attend. I couldn't be bothered that night my show was on.

Immortal 4 - Grandma Crimson and Grandpa Snow danced the night away.

At the end of fall came Lavender's birthday and the decision that sculpted who she is today.

Immortal 5 - Right here is a good stopping point. More after dinner.

Entry 4/ Immortal 2 - Crimson

Immortal 8 (to be) - So what exactly was this big decision that she'd made?

Immortal 4 - To answer that question properly we have to dwelve a little deeper into the childhood of my mom.

Lavender - Oooh make it a story. I like this idea, good job sweetie.

Immortal 4 - Okay so, growing up my mother had very dramatic tendencies.

Lavender - I was studying to become an actress you see. I would study my facial expression in the mirror.

I'd work on my posture whilst eating my food. It had to be organic food of course.

Immortal 4 - Of course, and...

Lavender - And i'd practice my  paparazzi stroll in my room. I was so graceful.

Immortal 4 - Yes you were...

Lavender - I still am actually. I always had to practice in character always that was the most important thing. But my most favorite and cherished memory darling was practicing lines with my father.

Immortal 4 - Come winter time she'd had nearly...

Lavender - I'd nearly mastered my stroll and facial expressions all while in the freezing cold.

Immortal 4 - Yup. She was crazy.

Lavender - I like to call it determined.

Immortal 4 - I'd like for you to stop narrating your life. Considering this is grandma Crimson's story and all.

Lavender - Oh fine.

Immortal 7 (to be) - Was wondering how long you'd let her keep that up.

Vanilla - I'm more surprised she kept going.

*All immortals (sans Lavender) look at Vanilla sarcastically *

Collectively (sans Crimson and Lavender) - Hahahaha ;D

Lavender - I don't see the humor in this situation.

Immortal 4 - Yeah, well anyway i'll just pick up where she left off. Winter time. It was winter time and Grandpa and Grandma were feeling the love. Remember they were born in the winter so it was a stronger connection to this time of year for them.

Grandma Crimson and Grandpa Snow celebrated their adult birthdays.

As a way to celebrate they took my mom to the park for the winter festival. There she made a friend.

At night grandma Vanilla would read my mom the story of her life.

Vanilla - A chapter a night.

Immortal 4 - Anyway the time soon came for Lavender's teenage birthday.

Immortal 8(to be) -Wait i'm confused how does any of this lead back to the decision that changed her life.

Immortal 4- Well it all leads back to her childhood birthday. Had she let me tell the story today you'd already know. If we turn the page you'll see what I meant.

Immortal 8 (to be) -  Oh soo pretty.

Lavender - Thank you!

Immortal 4 - When she was child she asked grandma Crimson if she could dye her hair. Grandma felt she was too young so she promised when she aged up she could dye it whatever color she'd like. So she dyed it Lavender.

Immortal 8 (to be) - Clever

Lavender -  ;)
