R.I.P. Danny. He was a good spouse. Be careful with Spine and Angeline. If Dina was pregnant before she left the house, then Angeline can't move into the household. And I love it that Nina was romancing the Grim Reaper.

David Tennant, a/k/a Barty Crouch Jr. (Don't know him as anyone else ;D)

Nina, Grim is an excellent catch! If you can catch him!

Bye Danny:-)  You were a wonderful tool spouse and father.

What happened with the raccoon? I hope The John didn't eat it.

Great update. Wonder what's going to happen next...

The Libros Decadynasty: Chapter 24 Aging Up and an Unexpected Twist
« Reply #152 on: June 11, 2013, 08:30:22 PM »
Pippin:  For the first time in her life,

Pippin:  Nina Caliente is not happy about being scantily clad.

Rabbit:  Well, time to see if Tessa Rao's house is a suitable spouse.
Pippin:  Don't you mean time to see if Tessa is a suitable spouse?
Rabbit:  No, she's not home.

Rabbit:  Oh, Aunt Dina.  Aging hasn't been the kindest to you.

Rabbit:  A long, open entryway turns to become a kitchen nook.  This is quaint.  Poorly decorated, but quaint.

Rabbit:  Okay, I think we knock out the wall between the kitchen and master bedroom, as wel as the wall between the living area, then we half-wall the corner and turn this into an open dining room.

Rabbit:  Okay, this could stay a nursery, or perhaps become a spare bedroom.

Rabbit:  Well, this large, open bathroom is a bit wasteful space-wise.  This house will need an upstairs for a master suite.  Maybe half of this area could become the right spot for a spiral staircase.
Pippin:  So, Tessa's still a candidate for your spouse?
Rabbit:  Her house is a fixer-upper, but I guess I could make this marriage work.

But first, it's time for Rabbit and The Jon to have their birthday party.

Luisa:  Rabbit, I've invited the ladies you were interested in so we can see if you're attracted to any of them when you're in the same age range.
Rabbit:  Attracted?  I can't see their houses from here, you know?

Pippin:  Oh look, she invited Ebony the genie and Trista who isn't a townie.  I hope Rabbit isn't attracted to either of them.

Albert:  This is how aliens carry soup.

Pippin: So, Rabbit, there are your two main options.  Any sort of attraction going for either of them?
Rabbit:  Tessa brought food.  Does that count?
Pippin:  I don't think so...

Rabbit:  Since I'm aging up, can I consider Kellie's sister, Charlene?
Pippin:  That's her mom.
Rabbit:  Yes, she's...wait...what?

Rabbit:  Wow, I just aged up in a silly outfit.  What could be worse?

Rabbit:  You know, in movies, when someone asks that, something even worse happens.  I'm glad this isn't a movie.  Isn't that right, Alice?  Alice?

Rabbit:  I've found one that I like.
Pippin:  That's the mother of your girlfriend.
Rabbit:  Yes, her.  I like her.

Pippin:  Since Rabbit's already acting crazy, let's see the insane brother age up.

The Jon:  Ha haHa hA!!  I'm the mayor of fig town!!

Pippin:  Are you sure none of the age-appropriate, single ones are catching your eye, Rabbit?
Rabbit:  Yes.  Especially not this one.

Pippin:  So, we leave this chapter with a young adult heir and the fight between honoring the only romantic inclination he's shown, or pushing him in the direction of one of the age-appropriate choices.  You couldn't make this easy, could you, you Wascally Wabbit?

Wascally Wabbit? Wow. And uber funny ;D

I should have guessed that Rabbit would not make this easy. Mmm. I wonder who he'll pick? I'm not going to bet on it, because you're good at throwing out red herrings. Argh. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

I love The Jon! His laughter is so amusing. He should have been heir ;)

Is he really Insane? That's a bit perfect, innit?
Well, the mother is not an option, so that's easy.

The Jon is rather fun, but Rabbit will be an excellent heir.

I literally gasped. Like, seriously, Pippin, seriously.

Yeah, his personal choices are getting in the way of me forcing him to be what the dynasty has decided is "successful"  :=)

Is he really Insane? That's a bit perfect, innit?
Well, the mother is not an option, so that's easy.
Yes, The Jon really is insane.  Yeah, the mother can't be an option due to the rules, but it was amusing to me that that was the only Sim there he found attractive.  Oh, and up until this party, I had thought she was Kellie's older sister.  Oops!

Who died behind him?
That was Alice GilsCarbo.  I had invited her hoping she'd bring her daughter who never seemed to be at home for Rabbit to meet.

The Libros Decadynasty: Chapter 25 Graduation and Skill Selection
« Reply #158 on: June 26, 2013, 04:18:33 PM »
Pippin:  So, Rabbit, shall we take it that you've settled upon the skill you want to supermax?
Rabbit:  Yep.  I'm going to supermax the piano.

Pippin:  Umm, that's not a piano...

Rabbit:  Happy birthday, The Jon.  It's nice that you're older, but I'm still the oldest, okay?
The Jon:  hA haHa HA.  My face is a canvas!
Rabbit:  And no, this isn't a skirt.  It's a kilt.  I wear the skirt with my formal wear.

Nina:  Well, you certainly aged up nicely...whichever one you are.
Rabbit:  You're pretty.
Pippin:  And she's not even remotely a spouse option.  Are you making this difficult on purpose?

Rabbit:  Think I'll jam with the genie!
Pippin:  Again, that is not a piano, and shouldn't you be heading to your graduation?

Rabbit:  Yes.  It's a formal occasion, so I'm wearing a dress.
Pippin:  That's a robe.
Rabbit:  And a ball cap.  With goggles.

Random Protester:  No more computers!!  Our youth will play games that simulate real life!!
Rabbit:  Wow, if we lived in a simulated game world, that would really be weird.
Pippin:  ...

Spine:  So, Rabbit, are you attracted to this age-appropriate classmate?
Rabbit:  Nope, not even a little.

Spine:  How about this completely unacceptable vampire?
Rabbit:  She's the most beautiful girl on this street.  Or at least in the top three.

Pippin:  And we leave you with a random stray dog walking into Spine and The Jon's room.

Typical Rabbit. Attracted to all the wrong women. This update made me laugh. Like The Jon. Ha! Ha HA ha! And once again, too many funny things to comment on them all, but the top three: Rabbit asserting his oldestness, and his dress-outfit, and him picking the wrong women, and he actually does like Nina--okay, that's more than three :P

The Libros Decadynasty: Chapter 26 Beginning a Career and Jamming
« Reply #160 on: July 08, 2013, 04:46:01 PM »

Pippin:  So, how are things going with being the governor's mistress, Nina?
Nina:  Oh, it has really taught me a lot about being faithful.

Nina:  I've completely stopped having random encounters with countless fellows.

Nina:  I'm just the perfect angel these days!

Pippin:  Somehow, I doubt that.  Anyway, let's check in on our dynasty heir.  How are things going with the new job, Rabbit?

Rabbit:  It's too early.  I haven't started yet.  In fact, it's so early that dad's still out.
Pippin:  Wait, what?

Pippin:  Well, hello again, Danny!
Danny:  Even beyond the grave, the random voice from the sky is still haunting me.
Pippin:  It's nice to see you too!

Pippin:  Eventually, it was time for Rabbit to start his first day of working in the day care career.

Luisa:  Okay, who wants a bottle of yummy green milk?
Pippin:  Umm, Luisa, where's Rabbit?
Luisa:  He's jamming.

Pippin:  I see.  You're making your poor mother handle your work duties while you play music with your potential spouses?
Rabbit:  Yes.  I'll meet my career and skill requirements more quickly that way.
Pippin:  Well, that's just...rather clever, actually.

Pippin:  So, this is one on one time to decide which gal suits you better?
Rabbit:  Yep.  Those are really nice socks, Tessa.
Tessa:  They're scales.
Rabbit:  Pretty sure those are called socks.
Tessa:  No, I'm a mermaid.
Rabbit:  And mermaids call socks scales?
Tessa:  ...yes.

Pippin:  And look, more bonding time.
Tessa:  Oh, nothing could spoil this wonderful moment!

Rabbit:  Even this?
Tessa:  Well, maybe this.
Nina:  Oooo, my handsome gentleman caller has returned!
The Jon:  Snow business!  Ha hA HA haHa!!

Tessa:  Well, it's time for me to mount my horse and ride home.

Pippin:  But someone else was still here.

Rabbit:  You do have the nicer house.
Kellie:  What?
Rabbit: I mean, your hair looks lovely today.
Kellie:  Oh, you're so sweet!

Rabbit:  But it's getting late and I should be heading to bed.
Kellie:  Ahh!!  You're wearing underthings!!
Pippin:  I wonder if she realizes she'll be seeing like that a lot more if she marries you?
Rabbit:  I wonder if she knows any adjectives other than "sweet" and "cute."

Pippin:  And so, Rabbit's dilemma continues.  Will he choose the mermaid with the nice hair but inferior house, or the vocabulary-challenged Sim with the mom Rabbit favors and the nice house?  Are you Team Kellie or Team Tessa?

Well, a mermaid spouse gives the possibility of invalidating a Diving supermax in the future. And if he marries the nicer house Kellie, he could have a squicky and inappropriate affair with her mom.

Go with the mermaid. Unless you're playing in Isla Paradiso, you won't be able to supermax diving anyway, because you won't have any underwater caves to explore.

And speaking of supermaxes, you do realize that instruments are well nigh impossible? My Gen 3 rock star didn't get a single guitar opportunity, let alone the 10 necessary, and had to take up fishing.

The Libros Decadynasty: Chapter 27 The New Job and Snowmen

Pippin:  Nina summoned the genie five days ago and she's still here.  Does anyone else find that odd?
The Jon:  Chickens say moo!!  hA hahA HA ha!

Rabbit:  Well, time to go back to work watching those little children type things.
Pippin:  So, you're making mom do it again?

Rabbit:  Yep.  I have things to do.

Rabbit:  Like a blackop to work out for four hours.

Rabbit:  It's gonna be a long four hours!!

The Jon:  hA Haha HA Rawr!  I eat babies!!
Pippin:  Yes, of course you do.  Speaking of babies, did you know that you'll increase your work performance by actually having some semblance of a relationship level with the children, Rabbit?

Rabbit:  Oh.  No.  Umm, hi, child.  Look at you being all made out of...small...human parts...and such...

Rabbit:  Oh good, a beekeeper and a wizard have come to take the children away.
Pippin:  Are you sure those are actually their parents?
Rabbit:  Maybe.

Pippin:  Oh, I see the governor has a visitor.  Going to his house with his daughter there.  A bit risky, Nina.  People might start to notice.  Not that you care...

Pippin:  And here is our resident genie, Ebony Moses.  And look, she's playing Rabbit's violin that he hasn't even had a chance to use yet.
Ebony:  Well, it was just sitting around, so I figured it was a gift for me.  It was an honest mistake.
Pippin:  There are no mistakes, only stealing.

Pippin:  Anyway, this is Spine's new room, which used to be Rabbit's room.

Pippin:  And this is Rabbit's new room that used to be Danny's greenhouse.

Pippin:  And speaking of Danny, here he is visiting again.
Spine:  So, father, are you simply an ectoplasmic incarnation of our father's physical presence or are you the resounding echo of his spiritual reality?
Danny:  Umm, you wanna make a snowman?

Pippin:  Nothing as fun as father and son bonding time, eh?

The Jon:  I am the egg man!!
Pippin:  Well, maybe that's as much fun.

The Libros Decadynasty: Chapter 28 Strange Creatures and a New House
« Reply #164 on: July 15, 2013, 12:40:04 PM »

Pippin:  It seems that part of the lure of Rabbit's Day Care Service is that it exposes young children to many different types of people.  This might be a piano-playing genie, or an alien come by to collaborate on homework.

Pippin:  However, sometimes it is that most terrifying type...

Spine:  Is it safe to make the assumption your reference is to our youngest sibling?
Pippin:  No, not The Jon!  I mean that terrifying paparazzo that has managed to sneak into the house uninvited.

Rabbit:  Hi, lady.  You're one of the top three most beautiful girls in this room.
Spine:  In the whole, wide room.

Pippin:  Speaking of beautiful girls, this lovely teen girl came by to pick up one of the day care children and found you rather handsome, Spine.
Spine:  Well, prom is coming up, and Angeline has experienced an age transition to young adult, so I suppose this age appropriate teen could function as my replacement date.
Pippin:  Oh, you sweet talker you!

Pippin:  And in another part of town, Nina was having a secret rendezvous...and being her typical lady-like self.
Nina:  I'm an angel!

Nina:  Come see this lovely snow angel I made!  Or my body since I've stripped down to my underwear!
Morgan:  Ordinarily I would, but I seem to be stuck in this frozen pond.  Plus, there's a zombie over there.

Morgan:  Seriously, there's a zombie right behind you!
Nina:  Don't worry,

Nina:  I brought my attack dear!
Attack Dear:  Grrr...
Zombie:  uuuuuhhnn

Pippin:  Rabbit decided to pay a visit to Tessa Rao and was caught off guard when he discovered that the Rao household had moved to a new home.

Rabbit:  A really big home...

Rabbit:  She might be the most beautiful home I've ever seen...

Rabbit:  Honey, I'm home!
Tessa:  Excuse me?
Rabbit:  I said...I like your new home.  Excuse me a moment.

Rabbit:  Your house is now the inferior one and your mom, who's way prettier than you, has aged up to elder, so I'm breaking up with you.
Kellie:  That is not sweet or cute!!

Rabbit:  So, Tessa, how many square feet is this house?
Pippin:  And Rabbit ended up staying the night in a guest room at the Rao house.  The next day, Spine decided to get to know his potential replacement date, Ann Willard.

Ann:  You look really handsome.  I like the pinstriped pants.
Spine:  Oh, umm, I also have complimentary thoughts about you.
Ann:  Whoa, easy there, big fella.  You almost sounded human!  Let's take a gift card photo.

Spine:  Yes.  Photography.  That's pleasant.  What shall we do next?
Ann:  Well, it would be a shame to have all this snow and not have a snowball fight!

Spine:  You're no match for my superior capacity for analyzing angles and trajectories.

Ann:  Whatever, Mr-Big-Talk.  Hope those pinstriped pants are waterproof!
Pippin:  So, with Spine off on a date; Luisa, Ebony, and The Jon at a movie; and Rabbit visiting Tessa, Nina had the house all to herself.

Pippin:  She turned her attention to politics.
Nina:  Hello there, Mr. Governor.

Pippin:  And she gave voice to her political position.

Pippin:  Apparently her political position is horizontal.

Pippin:  Can't help but wonder where that paparazzo went,

Pippin:  but it seems they're getting away with their affair thus far.
