The game has it set up that you either "Find a job" or you "find a profession".   Rabbit holes are the ones like the criminal career where your Sim goes in and you don't see them until it's time to get off work or you cancel work for whatever reason.   A profession is an interactive job like the ones that came with Ambitions, Generations or Showtime.  These are the ones that are xp based and require you doing things to advance.  Examples of rabbit holes: Criminal, Music, Law Enforcement.  Examples of professions:  Acrobat, Firefighter, Ghost Hunter, DayCare.

Also note that the Medical career is considered a rabbit hole even though it has some of the interactive features that would normally mark a profession.

For part time jobs, are the individual jobs within the same place considered different or if one of your sims maxes one spa job, the rest aren't considered unique? So are there 4 part time jobs or more?

If one of your Sims maxes the spa job, then I am assuming you would not be having the other Sim even go into that part time job because you're only scored for jobs that are maxed and you cannot have each Sim max the same job.

Oh I had taken that to be two jobs like the branches, one is spa receptionist and the other spa specialist, so we count that as one job then? means my practice is a fail as one of my sims has maxed one and already doing the other.

Okay my bad folks....yes the spa does offer 2 different "tracks"/jobs so treat them as unique. I had totally forgot that.

Clarification:

Horseman career may count only 1 trophy per type of race (total of 3).

Another Clarification

Simfest trophies can only count 1 per career.
Career rewards have to be things that are given to you as a reward for doing the job.  A beeper or portfolio is not a reward it's a performance item so they don't count.  There are some items for certain professions that are supposed to disappear when you quit a job.  These items cannot count towards the career reward metric because they are not rewards.  If they were, they wouldn't ever disappear.

Well to be honest I did not think about it when I wrote the rules as to the difference, but I would interpret it as one ..period. So...a literal interpretation of ONE pet.

Hi there, i'm new to the forum and was wondering, with this challenge, does that mean we are unable to use the horseman career as this would result with us having more than one 'pet' due to the breeding etc?
