Wait, where did all of the time go? And how do you fit so many people into one house?!

Another sweet update.  Sam and Sandi are as adorable a couple as Leighton and Morgana - and Alexia and Simon look to be heading the same way :).

I just read this story, and I'm really enjoying it! I loved your Two Worlds, One Heart story, and I love this one as well.  ;D

Okay, I'll admit that I cried when Yumi died.

Aww! It was well worth the wait! Congratulations to the new couple! I love the scene between Morgana and Sam. An amazing chapter, as always  ;)

Thanks much. :) That scene between Morgana and Sam was actually the first thing that I wrote for this chapter. It was the rest of it that left me scratching my head for so long. :P

So happy to see another of your weddings :)

Sim weddings are awesome. :) This one was not quite so chaotic as what I saw with Leighton and Morgana, thankfully...though it definitely had its share of quirks like a sudden hailstorm and a medical emergency...and plenty of routing issues because I still haven't learned not to set up chairs for the wedding. :P

Well Sadie took the words right out of my mouth.  Well written Raia.  I'm glad the writer's block dispersed.  I'm also hoping that we'll see more of Simon in future updates.  ;)

<wipes brow> Me too. It was really starting to drive me crazy, then suddenly one day (at work of all places) I had the breakthrough I was waiting for. It only took another three days after that. Now to get my hind end moving on my town jump...

And yes...you can probably bet that Simon is going to make another appearance. ;)

This probably the most realistic sims story I have ever read. It's stunning, I teared when Yumi died, altough I never played the Sekemontos. But your story made me so attached to all charachters and I simply adore it! :D

Thank you so very much! I too have become very attached to the characters and cried like a baby when I lost Yumi.

Wait, where did all of the time go? And how do you fit so many people into one house?!

I'm spacing out the chapters about every 2-3 years at this point. Even still, it flies so incredibly fast. I'm actually a decent ways ahead in my current gameplay on this file. Alexia is a YA, the twins and Winter are teens, and Abby is a child.

As far as how I fit so many in the household, Twallan's MasterController is my friend. :) Though...

Another sweet update.  Sam and Sandi are as adorable a couple as Leighton and Morgana - and Alexia and Simon look to be heading the same way :).

Sam and Sandi are definitely one of my favorite couples in SV. I've pretty much paired off all of the townies in my own mind, though not everyone (I don't know who to stick Madison with, for one).

Hmm, it does look like it, doesn't it? Alexia is a feisty sort. It's not going to be an easy road regardless. :P

I just read this story, and I'm really enjoying it! I loved your Two Worlds, One Heart story, and I love this one as well.  ;D

Okay, I'll admit that I cried when Yumi died.

Aw, thanks!

Next up: The doctors of Sacred Spleen are a tight-knit family of sorts, always there to support one another through good times and not-so-pleasant times, and there is plenty of both to be had among them. It's just another typical day at the office...that is, until an emergency comes in that hits far too close to home. It's never easy when your own child is on the operating table...

I'm really enjoying your story, Raia! I'm sorry I don't comment very often but real life gets in the way. Some days I don't get to play Sims at all but I do read stories on my iPad almost every day.

Ah yes, MasterController. I've been seriously considering downloading it and StoryProgression once I install Sims on my new laptop.

Nice treats when I got back from my holiday time :)

I do love when I saw the conversation between Abby and Morganna nee-san, even that just a short moment; some people just know how to deal with toddler and kid. I also love the decoration around the house, the pattern of the chair for example. Did you chose that yourself? Seeing curtain also added more detail for the house and looks like a real house that people living in :P

And I just learned new words to my dictionary “Opulent”, “Infringe” and “acquiesced”. I was smile when I saw the bribery part when Sam tried to convince his sister. You also add a nice touch about the dance thing; we know that she had bad experience from that alone.

And that also a nice touches because our Author here pretty fond of that Animal that Winter hold on. And nice reference about Yumi, I smile when you still mentioned about her.

Look at Leighton picture with two guys behind and just turn right to see someone with a facial hair, you seem love that hair style so much, Raia ;D

And it’s a nice beginning for the future couple in the future if something unexpected would not happen. I bet Alexia love story would be a little complicated but when the time is come, her heart would pick the right one for her.

Now and forever
Remember the words
From my heart will always be true
Now and forever
Together and all that I feel
Here's my love for you

And this was the part that what I remembered the most from the songs, my Mum also loves Air Supply even this is not her favourite song. High five for being a hopeless romantic person, Raia!

Morganna, she is the best mom. Too bad that person didn’t know about how great Morganna is. I look forward for Alexia romance story!

Ahem, the last scene was really something... They’re really close to each other even they’re soon will have their own extra wrinkles, they might be want to consider to put extra clothes instead just like that, I bet when the time is come they cannot sleep just like that again ;D

It’s a great update as usual; your writing is spellbinding! I can’t wait to see chapter 17 ;)

Thanks much! So far so good, though Sam and Sandi STILL don't have any children yet, even as far as I've played ahead...

Actually, the furniture pattern was original to the house. When I changed up their living room I liked it so much that I transferred it to the new couches and chairs.

I've been wanting to add a pet to the house ever since Winter became a child and rolled the Animal Lover trait. It's amazing how detailed the little rats are in-game, so close to real life even for being so small!

What can I say, Morty looks good with facial hair. :P

Alexia has her reservations about Simon, if for no other reason that she's still not accustomed to the fact that he actually likes her. But the coming chapter...well...let's just say that something changes.

Yep, that's the song! An old friend of mine played it at her wedding as the couple's first dance and I absolutely fell in love with it. It seemed appropriate for the story, at any rate. :P

P.S. You will. :)

Morganna, she is the best mom. Too bad that person didn’t know about how great Morganna is. I look forward for Alexia romance story!

Morgana is such a sweet mom. Autonomously she is always either encouraging her children to improve their skills, giving friendly hugs, or just chatting with them.

Oh yes, rest assured by the time Leighton and Morgana reach elderhood their nightclothes will be much more covering. :P They're still as lovey as ever. In my current gameplay Morgana is 11 days away and Leighton 13. Abby will hit YA in 12. I didn't plan it that way, but it worked out perfectly. :)

Thanks so much!

Awwww!  That was a wonderful chapter, as always Raia!  Absolutely beautiful!  The part where Morgana and Sam were talking about Yumi had me tearing up.  And what Morgana said is absolutely true!

Second Chances - Chapter 16 – A Few Extras
« Reply #266 on: December 30, 2013, 12:58:41 AM »
Not really an update, but I wanted to share a few of the screencaps that didn't make it into the actual story. Hope you enjoy. :)

I haven't really done justice to Justin and Jeremy. Their childhoods have been rather...boring, if you really want to know the truth. Jeremy is almost always at the computer playing chess and Justin is constantly on the trampoline. Once I added Seasons things got a bit more fun, but they only had one day left in their childhood by that point. Sigh...

Rest assured, though, their teenage years are a lot more interesting.

Leighton in his natural habitat: playing with his children. Left autonomously, he will always pick up and play with Abby. It's so cute. :)

And of course, no wedding would be complete without the obligatory medical emergency. This time the victim is one Johnny Keaton, freshly aged up to YA. Apparently in my makeover I forgot to change his shoes...oops.

From left to right: Miraj Alvi, Bella Bachelor, Arlo Bunch (in his swim shorts—he and half of the guests were swimming by this point), and Malcolm Landgraab...who wasn't invited. He has a bad habit of doing that, actually. :P

One of my favorite parts of Seasons—slow dancing.

And one of my least favorite parts of Seasons. Hail.

I finally caught one of the little buggers when they first materialize! This one decided to show up in the bathroom.

For those who are curious (I'm looking at you, Eld :P) Gobias and Zelda are still together and are still very much in love, so it appears. Gobi is now an elder and has since retired from his job at the science lab. Their daughter Hannah is a teenager and looks nearly identical to Zelda. She won't be appearing in this coming chapter, but will be in the one after that for certain.

And we conclude with a pic of Alexia bouncing on the trampoline. Because this is one of my favorite screenshots ever. (At least...that I can show at this point without spoilers. ;) )

Boys’ stories usually involved imagination about tree house or costume thing like Astronaut or Godzilla, but I think teenager life is more interesting than being a toddler. Because there is love that children didn’t experience yet.

If my memory not fails me, I remember Leighton still alive and lived with Sam who totally bald in my Dynasty file. But I don’t know if he still alive or not because Leighton is not family friends. I might want to check it up as Axl is Sam co-worker.
It always nice to see original townies to appear in your party, I also enjoy to see them well in my usual party, too bad each one of them will go as Third Generation grow up.

Slow dancing also my favourite but Malcolm took the women lead---which make me shake my head. Darlene surely more macho than him :P

I never experienced hail in my game, but it’s a fun thing to see everyone using umbrella with their own pose, I love Morgana nee-san pose, she is so calm.

Yay! I’m happy to see Gobby here. He looks happy in your story, Zelda also kind to him and I'm so glad. He's still has his bald spot but your makeover suit him well. I love his overall looks, especially the clothes that you put on, he looks like down-to-earth person. I look forward to see Hannah as well and I’ll be waiting!

The last screenshot is awesome!
