University loading times

Hi (new poster but long long time lurker ), I downloaded some new expansions and ever since the university loading time is ridiculous (around 15-20 mins). I didn't have this before installing. Expansions include: kpst, diesel and hidden springs (they were on sale!) had university before installing them and now takes forever to load - so much a few times I had to quit because I thought it had stopped working...

Cleared caches and a lot of saved games... Not sure what to do next. Any ideas? By the way, totally love this site.

Welcome to the forum. 

Have you tried uninstalling university and reinstalling it?  Did you download anything else at the time?   Double check all mods & CC if you use them.

Haven't tried uninstalling university yet - was hoping there was another way? No mods but I have bought and downloaded items from the store (cc?) plus got additional items for registering the games.

The only reason I mention it is because all the ones you got were chronologically before University.  So if you uninstalled just University and then reinstalled, it might help.  I had to do that once with Diesel back when it was the last one to be released.

You won't lose anything if all you do is just uninstall the one and reinstall it.

If you move all your save files to your desktop for a moment - do the uninstall/reinstall it shouldn't make a difference because you're not trying to play those games while the EP is uninstalled.
