Picnic Basket

 Can anybody explain how to use the picnc basket in town or parks ect please.  ???

I have The Sims 3 Pets for PS3, I haven't done it myself, but I think you have to have it in your inventory by going to build/buy mode then you go to a park and find a picnic table.  I don't know what to do from there.  Try going to your sim's inventory and select the item you might be able to place it.  You can only do build/buy mode by being at your sim's house.

Never used a picnic basket but you might be able to activate just the bench at the park and serve a meal. Might be the same if you have a picnic basket in your inventory.
