Crinrict is a member of the official forum that has probably helped more people with technical issues than most of the SimGuruDevs on that forum.   It's a fact.  Ever since Late Night, she has been making threads to talk about bugs with an expansion and pushing on twitter and other media to get the Gurus to acknowledge issues and give us answers.

Today she released a new blog post called Precautions for University life that talks about all the things someone should do just in case when installing University Life and things to think of for while you are playing with University Life content.

I love The Sims; I really do.  I mean, I've been playing since the Sims 1 days, so I must like this game to have spent so much time on it.  But I hate how many simmers try to close down anyone who's critical of EA or who dislikes something about any of the games.  If a game is good, it can withstand a little criticism.  

So I'm very glad that Crinrict exists and that she tries so hard to get mistakes acknowledged and corrected.  Thanks for the link.

(I'm a moderator on the official forum for a game called The Witcher, and I think some simmers would faint if they saw the interactions we have there.  The rules there are much looser than the ones I've seen on any Sims forum.  )

Yeah totally not bashing EA.  I just see Crin on the forums more than anyone else and if anything her threads seem to help get answers as everyone can post in a single thread to get attention rather than a thousand of complaints out there.   Her help blog has helped me on numerous occasions with random glitches and bugs the past couple of years.

Yes, Crinrict has shared a lot of helpful information. I wouldn't call it EA bashing - pointing out mistakes is not bashing; it's when others rant about mistakes in a way that is unhelpful that really constitutes bashing.

On a side-note, I looove the witcher I don't normally like sandbox games, but that one is really awesome. I played the first one right through. I can see exactly what you mean, just recalling one of the 'goals' of the game - trying to get as many cards as possible....
