Ghosts Driving?

I took my Sim to the graveyard to catch deathfish and  saw a strange thing... one of the ghosts calmly walked out of the graveyard, waved for a car (which I thought was going to be a taxi, but it wasn't...), got into a car and drove away! 

Has anyone else seen ghosts driving?

A few times. The taxi driver wasn't surprised or scared at all...

Yeah, I've had ghosts that go from their graveyards and drive to the other side of town to visit their relatives. It happens.

It happens all of the time.  Around midnight, they all wander to the road and take off, some just go to houses and then others just disappear again at the beach.

I can confirm that it happened before Ambitions. Fact is, I reported it as early as in this thread.

Definitely before Ambitions.  I've seen ghosts driving cars from the very beginning of Sims 3.

Yeah it's the same for me. I don't have Ambitions but every night at least 5 ghosts float out of the graveyard and get a taxi or a car and drive around. It's kind of annoying because I can't communicate with any of the ghosts there, they're too determind to get out and drive!

Just another confirmation that this happens on a regular basis.  I had a legacy in Riverview where a ghost lived in the house across the street and would take off in a cab nearly every night.

I had my Sim hang out in the cemetary and, sure enough, every ghost who came out for the night went straight to the street and left in a car.  There were times they'd drive before, but it wasn't as constant as it is now.  Out of five ghosts, maybe one would leave in a car and the rest would stay at the cemetary.  I believe this car thing is caused by Ambitions and/or the accompanying update.  I don't like it, personally.  I'd rather have them haunting the cemetary as proper ghosts should.

Maybe they should, it's interesting if it's true that this has changed since Ambitions, but can I just give a sarcastic remark first?

Uh Oh...Pam gonna get Swede.

I've always had the problem with a lack of ghosts in graveyards since day 1, so ghosts leaving in cars doesn't affect my game much.  I haven't gotten around to ghostbuster career yet so I don't know if there will be a shortage at the graveyard.  I'll just have to see when I do play the ghosts.
