Now that's an interesting backstory.  It explains so much Nadia's fear and hatred of the supernatural.  I'd like to see how she can move forward in her marriage carrying that sort of baggage.  Great writing Swirl-Girl.
I can't wait either! Frankly,

That was some backstory...  :o
I just want to see the next, Squirt.

Poor Nadia, zombies should come and take care her mother anyway :P

P.S: I notice there is something changed in your signature :P
Hopefully an update tomorrow!
I feel bad for her mom, her husband is dead, and she is stuck with a kid she doesn't want, despite loving the child. Pam is rather conflicted...

Yeah, that is the point Nadia gave up on Moonlight Falls. She spent a while trying to figure out where to go and how to get there. On the way she aged up and got her last trait. Yes, she loves Nerrissa. They are the best of friends. She wouldn't know what to do if she didn't have Nerrissa. It'll be sad to see her go.

Yeah, I can understand that but my feeling over Nadia is too great. Because she is my favorite character beside Jamal.
So, I can't have any feeling for her Mom. Nadia situation is like Sinbad in my story, he also an unwanted child but Nadia is more lucky at least that she has Dad (~_~)/

Pushing Forwards
Sorry that little Nadia has been neglected for a while. I suppose I let you stew over the recent drama!

After the wedding, I noticed Calvin had left the house.

I don't know what he was doing, but...

He was different when he came back...

While he was gone, Nerrissa and I got a new friend. His name is Fire.

He and this beautiful new blanket were both wedding presents, Calvin's sister knitted the blanket, and an old friend named Sarah gave me my new friend. We should get in touch sometime...

Is Fire a normal or ghost horse. I think it is ghost because I read somewhere that those horse who died with having less than 10,000 lhps are red in color. Anyway, it's cute. I am new in the forum and also this topic and I really like this story.

Ofcourse, you can call me 'Chet'. Riding that ghost horse looks both scary and funny. So, Sguirt, what's happening in the next update. Don't tell me if you want make it a surprise.

A Mysterious Phone Call

One day, while Calvin was napping, I got a call from an old friend.
"Hello?"
"Hello, my dear Nadia."
"Sarah?"
"Yes, it's me."
"Well, thank you for the foal. Fire is getting close with Nerrissa. He's a fine horse."
"I'm glad you're so satisfied! My husband and I were walking through a graveyard and saw the poor foal all forlorn. From your e-mails I thought that you might like a fine foal like this for your wedding."
"Woah, back up, Sarah. Husband?"
"Oh, Nadia. You'll get to know him soon enough. We have some catching up to do."

"Yes, I quite agree, Sarah."
"I think it'd be easiest in person, could I possibly come to visit sometime, Nadia?"
"That sounds simply splendorous, Sarah!"
"Great."

"So, Nadia, tell me about Calvin,"
"Like what?"
"His past maybe?"
"Well, he's an ex-werewolf..."
"Really? But haven't I been lead to believe that you're a Supernatural Skeptic, from your e-mails."

I quickly change the subject...
"Did you catch the meteor shower last night?"
"Yeah, one nearly hit my house."
"Oh."

"Perhaps, you'd like to speak to my husband?"
"Yes, that sounds good, Sarah."
"Okay, I'll put him on the line."

"Hello, Nadia."
"Yes, a pleasure to meet you..."
"My name is an item of no importance, for now. I've been lead to believe that you are a kindred spirit?"
"You're proper too! That's great!
"No, well yes but, we are both more critical of the 'Supernatural' than others." I blushed, I'm a little embarrassed over that.
"Yes?" Where is he taking this?
"Good." Good?

"Beyond the formalities, Let's get to something more important."
"Yes, I quite agree, Sir." I hear a chuckle.

"Great! Sarah and I, plus one, will be visiting in one week. You'll be able to get together arrangements by then yes?"
"Well a nice little motel recently opened up. I could probably hook you up with a cheap stay-"
"Sarah and I prefer more personal arrangements."
"Oh, I could get a trailer towed in by my house."
"No, thank you."
"Uhh, I could probably pay some workers double to get a guest home up in tim-"
"Sounds great!"
"It's a date!"

Why did I get such an uneasy feeling as I hung up?

Thank you, I'm kind of painting him like a certain character I am rather infatuated with right now. Conniving, mysterious, way too smart, and downright creepy. And he happens to be in a Harry Potter Fanfic.

Hey guys! Sorry about the dry spell, I'm waiting on this one little thing (My Dad) to do something so I can do another thing. So we're on a bit of a hiatus.

Touch-down

Finally the plane touched down. It was a terrible flight with a seedy company. Sarah wondered why her husband hadn't used a private jet. Well, she supposed that this was like a private jet. They were the only ones on the flight, but the flight staff wholly ignored them. At least the staff didn't mind that they wanted a little while, her husband needed to make some calls, and she needed to speak with Victor.

Who knows what he's planning now. He's always planning something, and his last plan resulted in vacationing in Cuba. So she was fine with it.
"Yes, that's an order!"
He has many lackeys. She doesn't know nor care how or why. He always has.
*Beep*

"Hey, Nadia! Nice to hear you, we've just landed, we'll be over there in a matter of minutes,"
"You too."

"Hey Victor."
"Hey Mom,"
"So, uhm, Victor? Please don't treat Nadia the way you have mommy's other friends, she's a little more touchy on that subject."
"Oh, c'mon. It's so funny!"

"Well, it isn't for me,"
"Hmph"
"Nadia is an old friend of mine. You can't go acting the way you usually do around Mommy's friends."
"Hmph"

Hmm, Victor and his phone seem to be more of a couple than Victor and Sarah.  Small children in their racing helmets just crack me up!
