The Next 2 Days

Nerrissa and I are so excited for the race tonight! We've been practicing a lot. and I feel very ready.

We've even been practicing backwards, but it didn't work to well.

How're you doing up there?

Zombies came this night! Real ones!

I can tell, look at those hands, terrifying.

"Lemme just say something Nadia," No, I'm speaking! "Well, I am now. Look at her! I am scared for when she gets her midlife crisis." Mid life crisis? I'm not aging. "That's what they all say..."

"She decided to wear her athletic outfit for once while training." Hey, Hey, Hey! I'm talking now! "Hey is for horses."
Yeah, and I have a horse. "That wasn't very polite." Sorry.

I don't know if Nerrissa is okay, does she have to get checked out? "No, its fine, I've done this before." No, you haven't.

I decide to check out the elixir shop, lets just say that I'm never seeing that place again!

Wallowing in her self misery.

Happy Pi day! (March 14th)

And a happy Pi Day to you, Squirt!
I can't help but wonder what's running through Nerrissa's mind throughout all of this.  Mayhaps this race we hear about could feature some of her thoughts?  Of course, it's also possible I simply have seen too many cartoons with talking animals...
Regardless, nice update.  Thanks for sharing :=)

Nice update.  I had to laugh at the backward mount on Nerrissa.  That happens even to the most skilled of riders.  EA definitely has a sense of humour.  And happy Pi Day to those not on my side of the world.  To those who are, "Beware the Ides of March"  :P

Thank you everyone. Maybe I'll have an extra special episode from Nerrissa's view, Those two are quite the team. The way I see it is that Nerrissa is grounded and kind, While Nadia is polite, flighty, and heavy. If that makes sense.

APWW

Now Nadia you tell them, "Why!" Because it is your fault. "Fine. Sorry. Hey uhh, readers? You know that race? Yeah, I forgot about it. Sorry." See? Not too hard. Now, I'll be narrating today. Okay?

Now, Nadia signed up for the APWW (Appaloosa Plains Welcome Wagon). And her first assignment weren't exactly, well you'll see.

She was told that it was 3 roommates, fresh out of college, and to welcome them very kindly, for Appaloosa Plains was trying to work on their diversity. Nadia assumed they were from Shang Sim La, or Al Simhara.

"There was a fairy! Appaloosa Civic let a fairy in!" Now Nadia. Yes she was a fairy.

And when she stepped in a ghost grabbed her, but she was able to walk right through him- "Not that I liked it." Nadia, you shouldn't interrupt me, I can do horrible things to you. "Not that you will. Sorry,"

And while she was there, the vamp decided to become a zombie. "The nerve of some people, ah, things!"

"And, I was cursed by the fairy!" Calm down, she just threw some fairy dust on you because she knew you were a little, nervous. "And it was terribly rude of her."

Nadia, I think you need to work on your manners. They've deteriorated significantly. "It's those zombies that come every night. Now I have to strain to remember to do things that were formally second nature."

Nice twist with the surprise roommates!  I like the balance you've created between erratic and irrational Nadia and down to earth Nerrissa.  It will be interesting to see how the personalities of the supernatural trio add to that.

Thanks. Right now I feel that Nadia is getting a little hysterical, what with the zombies, and now these creatures invading her utopia.

Hmmm, looks like she was getting a bit friendly with that ghost! I hope that progresses. He looks cute!

Yay for Doctor Who and Finding Nemo references!

Poor Nadia! She needs to petition her Watcher to do something about the Supernaturals.

We have a gang now.  That's new  :=)

Doctor Who reference.

You so totally rock, Squirt!

Finding Nemo reference.

Huh, I guess it was Pippin doing the referencing. I should've guessed.

Oh! I was looking in my posts.
I'm frightfully sorry for the long wait, I've finally been hit by the schoolwork, and may, gasp, have to learn to study! But my Girls Scout Cookie order came in today, and next week is spring break, so, hopefully, more updates are on the way! (GS Cookies are good for creativity, as is the color green, but I prefer purple ;D)

Hi Swirl-Girl!  I wanted to let you know that this is the first Sim story I have read, and so far it is my favorite.  Like some of the others, I really enjoy how the story is told by both Nadia and the "Watcher," and how they interact with each other.  Also this is my first real glimpse at some of the elements of both the Supernatural and Pets expansions.  I have no real interest in Pets, but I'm curious about Supernatural, so it's cool to be able to check out things like zombies and fairies.  I'll have to read some other Supernatural stories when I get a chance.

If I may give one piece of constructive criticism:  start a new paragraph when a new speaker starts talking.  It makes things easier on your reader if they know who is saying what.  Using quotation marks when Nadia is speaking does help some, but starting a new paragraph for each new speaker is better.  Keep writing!  It makes you smarter!

Also, Girl Scout Cookies are good for so much more than just creativity!  Satisfy your sweet tooth and help a good cause at the same time.  What could be better?

Thank you so much for the Constructive Criticism, proper format has never been my forte, but I'll work on that. Thanks!
I'll probably make an update later today, after I make my rounds around the forum!
