Pippin-The household continues working on developing their skills.
And Janicia works on a nice surprise for Patrizia,
while Ellody does more on-line chatting.
When Patrizia sees it all set up,
she is delighted with the great work area that has been created for her. Janicia did a painting of her, an ice sculpture of her, and Patrizia's Best Artist award is hanging on the wall by her easel.
Patrizia-Thank you so much, Janicia! This is one of the nicest things anyone has done for me!
Janicia-Sure thing, Patty. I needed to develop my painting and sculpting skills more anyway.
Patrizia-Umm, I actually don't like being called Patty.
Janicia-Oh. My bad, Patty.
Pippin-When she finished her on-line chatting, Ellody continued developing her social networking skill (which is replacing photography in her communications major). Wait, did I just see my name in that blog?
Ellody-No...maybe...
Pippin-(Sigh) At any rate, the next day, Mr. Parker went out to check the mail
and learned that the rules were changing.
Dear competitors,
The rules of the game are about to change.
Instead of having unlimited time to complete
your majors, we are now setting a deadline.
You have until 8:00PM this Saturday.
At that point, whoever has the most skill points
in their major areas will be declared our winner.
(For Jamal, three rocks will equal one skill point
since the collection calls for 30 rocks)
Best of luck,
PippinIt is Tuesday now, so they have under 5 days of the competition remaining, but before they jump back into the competitive activities, nice guy Mr. Parker announced that he was taking the household for a day of entertainment.
Mr. Parker-Let's go guys. I have a surprise for you.
Jamal-I call riding in the trunk!!!
Janicia-Alright! Karaoke party!
Patrizia-We'll see about that.
Janicia-What?
Pippin-While the others chatted and enjoyed the ambience, Patrizia set to work trying to sabotage the karaoke machine.
Hey, Ellody, isn't this a great chance to meet new friend to build that charisma skill?
Ellody-Don't interrupt me, Pippin, I'm reading.
And meantime, Jamal and Janicia practiced not being friends
including slapping.
Behind them, Patrizia was caught and the karaoke was able to continue.
What are you doing now, Ellody?
Ellody-Admiring the prettiest girl here.
Pippin-First up to sing
was Jamal.
He started a dance party
up until he did an epic power leap and face planted into the ceiling.
Next up on the mics
we had Janicia and Patrizia.
Janicia-Let's rock this place, Patty!
Patrizia-(Sigh) Okay.
Janicia seems to have trouble seeing the screen.
Janicia-Jinkies! I lost my glasses!
Pippin-And Ellody took the opportunity to dance with a new friend.
Pippin-It's nice that they could enjoy a bit of down time before this last stretch of the competition.
Janicia-(Singing) The ants are my friends. They're blowing in the wind. The ants are all blowing in the wind.
Mr. Parker-I'm pretty sure it's "The answer is blowing in the wind...?"
