Marissa is too precious. I can't tell which parent she looks like, though.

I don't have Island Paradise, but if/when I get it, boating around Bridgeport is on my to-do list. Those shots are gorgeous.

Marissa is just too cute!  Hehehe, love those pictures of Devon checking out Shannon while she squees over her ring.  And Trip is right, those pictures of them boating around are gorgeous.

The hair is a mystery, such like one of my own cases, in which Jonathan Gemstone, one of my favourite own sims ever, tried for baby with all the ladies in Beach Babes household. Hinni's and Rei's daughters Lea and Kazue (changed the names, they had stupid Finnish ones) were both blonde, but Karlie's son was a redhead, even though Jonathan is blond and Karlie is too, although a different shade of.

On the plus side, you don't have to worry about Shannon's hair colour clashing with her skin.

Marissa is adorable and I look forward to see who she looks like. Hopefully Giles, he's my favourite Dojo of all the time.

Is his palm facing inward? If you're going to pretend to be looking at your wedding ring, you're going to have to try harder, Devon.
I'm not pedantic! I just believe in precision of language.

Marissa is so precious in those pigtails. Looks like we have another little Rhoxi in the dojo house. Yay she was my fave.

Loss

Now that William had passed on some part of himself to future generations, he seemed content to go.

William: "It's nice to know that I contributed something," he said, as he drifted off. "Take good care of that red eyed girl for me now, will ya?"

Grim just stomped and waved angrily. "Alright now people, move out of the way! I've got a reaping here to attend to."

Vera did not take well to his loss. She locked herself up in her art room for days, tending to the family portraits.

Shannon, meanwhile, comforted Devon in the way that young lovers do.

Even Giles was strangely affected, but that may have been on account of his own recent loss.

Giles: "And she loved him, so much! And now he's . . .  gone! Like Elvira!"

Gwenyth: "Um, son? Turn around."

Grim also came for Odine Perry, who died, tragically, mere inches away from a can of plasma juice.

In the midst of the chaos, Evan once again aged up without a celebration. (Whoops!)

But not before he made one final conquest, breaking up the marriage of Morrigan and Wogan Hemlock.

Vera was so furious she actually left the art room to try and slap Evan. Of course, she has her issues with cheaters.

She was a little surprised, though, when she received an unexpected call.

From Wogan, of all people! She agreed to meet him, although they didn't do much else than talk about the pain of his being betrayed.

Wogan: "I don't understand! We've been happily married for decades, and then just like that it's over!"

Vera understood, completely.

Vera: "Sometimes love just doesn't make any sense! People do things, and there's not always a reason for it."

She came home home and locked herself up in the art room again, but this time, Devon thought her heart didn't seem quite as heavy.

Devon: "So, did you have a nice date last night?"

Vera: "Not a date," Vera muttered.

But Devon just batted his gorgeous man eyelashes and smiled knowingly. "Uh-huh."

All the death and stuff is definitely a sad note, but seeing the family support each other in it was sweetness in the midst of strife.  You balanced it out nicely.

I'm one of the few people who still kind of liked William (okay, it takes a lot for me to dislike an original townie spouse. Call it bias), and he tried to make things right, so rest in peace.

Vera and Wogan, sitting in a tree. Having post-immortality romance because why the heck not? ;D
