LossNow that William had passed on some part of himself to future generations, he seemed content to go.
William: "It's nice to know that I contributed something," he said, as he drifted off. "Take good care of that red eyed girl for me now, will ya?"
Grim just stomped and waved angrily. "Alright now people, move out of the way! I've got a reaping here to attend to."
Vera did not take well to his loss. She locked herself up in her art room for days, tending to the family portraits.
Shannon, meanwhile, comforted Devon in the way that young lovers do.
Even Giles was strangely affected, but that may have been on account of his own recent loss.
Giles: "And she loved him,
so much! And now he's . . . gone! Like Elvira!"
Gwenyth: "Um, son? Turn around."
Grim also came for Odine Perry, who died, tragically, mere inches away from a can of plasma juice.
In the midst of the chaos, Evan once again aged up without a celebration. (Whoops!)
But not before he made one final conquest, breaking up the marriage of Morrigan and Wogan Hemlock.
Vera was so furious she actually left the art room to try and slap Evan. Of course, she has her issues with cheaters.
She was a little surprised, though, when she received an unexpected call.
From Wogan, of all people! She agreed to meet him, although they didn't do much else than talk about the pain of his being betrayed.
Wogan: "I don't understand! We've been happily married for decades, and then just like that it's over!"
Vera understood, completely.
Vera: "Sometimes love just doesn't make any sense! People do things, and there's not always a reason for it."
She came home home and locked herself up in the art room again, but this time, Devon thought her heart didn't seem quite as heavy.
Devon: "So, did you have a nice date last night?"
Vera: "Not a date," Vera muttered.
But Devon just batted his gorgeous man eyelashes and smiled knowingly. "Uh-huh."
