Vera's right, art nerds are way cooler. I believe the term is . . . hipsters?

Oh, and I'm having TOTAL deja vû to Nolan with Evan. It's either the hair, the skin . . . or the hair and skin! Pink = purple + pink.
I expect Azokka either to yell at everyone and totally dominate or else get out the popcorn.-Ombradellarosa

What is it with cute neurotic dynasty guys these days? :-*

Seriously! It's a fad or something! I feel so left out that I don't have one! He is really adorable. I'm glad he got the eyes. And his traits are cool. And sterilisation with fire, hahaha. Fun chapter.

I have to say that all of Gwenyth's children are gorgeous! I think that will be an even more eventful time with 3 teenagers who seem to be all some little nerds.  ;)

I love Evan's hair!  I don't know why, but I do XD  Poor Vera XD  Always gettin' in trouble.  I can't wait to see her with her own kids.

The messy hair suits him. It makes me think of an absent minded professor type.

Haha! Oh no, you've started a trend, Trip!

Vera's right, art nerds are way cooler. I believe the term is . . . hipsters?

Oh, and I'm having TOTAL deja vû to Nolan with Evan. It's either the hair, the skin . . . or the hair and skin! Pink = purple + pink.

Haha, it's true. Vera is a total hipster! Evan and Nolan both have the tilted eyes, plus I dressed them both in brown + their skin color. With Nolan, I used brown because both hair and eyes were brown, and for Evan because his eyes are brown. I tend to dress rainbow sims in their hair/skin/eye colors. Plus, they're both pollinators so: deja vu completely appropriate!

There is a clear solution for this: make a neurotic sim! They're so much fun. I identify with them because of the obsessive stove checking/checking that doors are locked/etc.

Love the update and poor Vera she just can't help her self can she? lol

She really can't, but you wouldn't want her to stop!

They turned out a good mix of Dojo and Sinjon, I think. Vera got all the Sinjon genes, but Giles and Evan got all the Dojo genes. 3 teens definitely makes for even more rebellious fun times!

Getting into Trouble

Of course now that Evan was a teenager, Gwenyth knew that meant that there was one more sibling that Vera could persuade to get into trouble. Vera insisted on taking him down to The Grind and introducing him to the party scene.

Vera: "Hey everyone, this is my nerdy little bro Ev! Be nice to him or I'll rough you up, 'kay?"

It turned out that, although socially awkward, Evan was a natural on the dance floor.

Vera: "Whoah, you're way better than Giles!"

Giles: "That's fair."

They partied until they were tired, but at least Vera managed to get them home without getting caught.

Gwenyth: "Well, I suppose I should be thankful for small mercies, right?"

Samura: The cops didn't have to escort her home tonight, so I'd say that's an improvement.

Gwenyth: "Sometimes she seems so lost. I keep hoping that she'll find her own path, but . . ." *sigh*

Gwenyth wasn't quite sure what to make of this rebellious daughter of hers. She'd tried to convince Vera to come join her and the boys in the lab, but Vera insisted she had no taste for it. It just "wasn't her thing." Gwenyth wasn't quite sure what Vera's "thing" was, but she was pretty sure it involved getting into trouble. A lot.

Gwenyth: "Well, at least I have a couple of sons to be proud of."

Samura: They're tremendous boys, but don't give up on Vera. She just takes after her mother a bit too much.

Gwenyth: "Hey!"

Giles was a natural science whiz.

While Evan showed more of an inclination for medicine.

He wasn't quite such a natural at it, but Gwenyth felt sure he'd get the hang of it--if he didn't blow himself up first.

But little did she know that Vera wasn't the worst of her troubles. Romeo made his first ghostly appearance, and it seemed as if he came with a message for Gwenyth.

Gwenyth: "Romeo? Back so soon, what's---huh, where's Sinjon?"

She shook the sleep from her eyes, suddenly aware that the father of her children wasn't at home in their bed.

Earlier that night, Sinjon had left to "run some errands." It was a little strange considering the lateness of the hour and the full moon calling up the zombies, but at the time, she had thought little of it. Now that he still wasn't back . . .

Well, Gwenyth had no doubt she knew the reason. And she couldn't blame him.

They had kept up appearances, mostly for the children's sake, but their relationship had always been one of convenience and practicality. She'd given him a second chance at life in return for fathering her children, but a second chance at life without love was certainly only a limited one. She could understand Sinjon wanting to have it all, but why hadn't he told her?

Samura: Well, for what it's worth, it looks like Vera isn't the one getting into trouble tonight!

Sinjon's walk is the stride of pride or something, right...?

Naughty Sinjon, I mean, he at least owes some respect to his children!

Problem is, he's not just a live-in. Any children he has will be genetically related to future heirs. Not sure what the plan is, Rhoxi, unless you're planning to clone again, or move in his children and try to make them branch off like you did with Dewayne. I suppose that would work.

I love the proud expression on his face.  ;D
Sadly I never had a sim doing this walk, even if I had sims woohooing in their lovers' house. Do I have to fullfill another condition??
Oh and Vera is a great sister, introducing her little brother to the "cool" people.

I love them, too! The science lab is just too much fun to play with, and they all look fantastic in their little lab coats. Vera remains one of my favorite sims to play ever.

Ooo bad boy Sinjon! Gwen might be understanding but geesh have a bit of discretion. Great update and I'm sure Vera will find her place just like everyone else

She will, of course, but the journey to find it is always fun. Let's just say Vera's journey continues to be exciting. At least, I think it is, and I hope you will too!

Sinjon's just being a good male live-in. ;)

Problem is, he's not just a live-in. Any children he has will be genetically related to future heirs. Not sure what the plan is, Rhoxi, unless you're planning to clone again, or move in his children and try to make them branch off like you did with Dewayne. I suppose that would work.

For once, I actually decided to have a character fall in love and produce children for primarily story purposes. Don't get me wrong, more blueboos are always wonderful, and if one turns out exceptionally lovely there's always clone drone potions and DNA samples. But mostly, it just seemed natural for Sinjon to want to love and to be loved. I wanted him to be something more than just a flat convenient character to spawn Gwenyth's kids. You know? Besides, Giles and Evan have better genes for breeding, and they'll make plenty.

Sinjon's walk is the stride of pride or something, right...?

Naughty Sinjon, I mean, he at least owes some respect to his children!

Yes, I think that's what it's called. It's from woohoo off the home lot. I agree, the children are definitely the big "no-no" part of his actions.

I love the proud expression on his face.  ;D

Oh and Vera is a great sister, introducing her little brother to the "cool" people.

Hm, I thought it was from any woohoo that's not a home lot. Do you have all of the expansions, because maybe it came in one of those? I don't recall.

The stride of pride came with Late Night, and it doesn't seem to work for sims that are married or engaged.

Whatever the purpose is, I'm glad that Sinjon can find love.
