Aww!  Sad to see Romeo go.  The bonfire tribute was beautiful though ^^

Thanks! It's what I thought when I saw them, so I figured I'd have Vera think it, too.

The bonfire photos with the bridge in the background are gorgeous! Well, except for the starving teenager next to the bonfire.

And--wow, William . . . freaky, much?

Bridgeport is wonderful for photo sessions. Especially at night. The teen did eventually go get something to eat, thanks to that new University coffee stand thing. Haha, I have no idea why William was so upset about Vera kissing Eggs! He just started doing that angry/grumpy shout thing that sims do sometimes; it was hilarious!

Teen party! Wooooo! Good-bye, Romeo, you were a wonderful dynasty helper and a great friend.

Yup, that about sums it up!  :)

Watchers above, I love Vera!  The bit about "fight the man!" "I am no man!" "Crap." cracked me up.  Can't wait to see what she gets up to next.

Don't worry, Vera provides a wealth of entertainment! I love her too!

Teen rebellion, thats all it was is what Samura must be thinking.

It's a new phenomenon for the Dojos: teen rebellion. Samura is probably doing somersaults in her grave, poor woman!

RIP Romeo Rake.

His name makes me want to start punning. Like, "Hey Vera, you got Eggs all over your face! Or well, at least on your lips!"

Snow Day Disaster

Snow day rolled around, beautiful and white.

Gwenyth decided that a big gift giving party was just what the kids needed to cheer them up after Romeo's passing.

Gwenyth: "Remember when we used to do this at your house, mom? All of the extended family would come and make the place just so colorful. I can't wait to have a big family again."

Samura: Something tells me you're going to get that wish come true.

Gwenyth: "Yes! The boys will have ever so many fine grandchildren!"

Vera and Giles stared hungrily at the pile of presents.

While Evan looked adorable in his appropriately themed and festive sweater.

That's when the earthquake hit.

Gwenyth: "Sorry kids, gotta run. Bridgeport needs me!"

Gwenyth was busy all over town: putting out fires, fixing gas leaks, saving the populace . . .

And then, laughing at them?

For one poor vampire, however. It was too late. Gwenyth freed him, but starvation took him anyway.

Gwenyth sped off into the night, with so many lives still in need of saving, there was no time to mourn.

The city needed her.

You go, Gwenyth. You go.

So, Merry freaking Christmas, huh?

Gwenyth is a seriously epic firefighter. I think that just about sums it up!

Samura really installed a sense of duty into Gwenyth, didn't she?  Snowflake Day or not, people must be rescued!  That last shot of the city is epic, by the way.

Gwenyth as Batman! Haha! I love it. Well, that update was a bit of a break from the norm, but I couldn't resist using all of those fun pictures I took of her. It was my first earthquake too, so I was all excited about it.

Anyways, back to the story!

Back to Normal

In the wake of her snowflake day heroism, it was no surprise that the city wanted to honor Gwenyth's accomplishments with a small ceremony.

After that, life pretty much went on as usual, except for the notable lack of Romeo and his antics.

Giles picked up a new skill or two, and he decided he wanted to be a scientist. No surprises there.

Vera: "A scientist, huh? God, you're such a nerd, Giles."

Giles: "Nerds are cool now. Where have you been?"

Vera: "Naw, art nerds like me are still way cooler than science nerds. Come on, back me up, Ev!"

Evan: "Um, well, I'm a little, eh, neurotic? A clean lab sounds kinda awesome to me."

Giles put his new logic to good use tutoring Evan.

Giles: "If you want to work in a lab someday, you'll need good grades so listen up! Now, sterilization before experimentation. And how do we do that?"

Evan: "Um . . . fire?"

Giles: "Yes!"

Although, it seems that Vera's rebellious tendencies have really been rubbing off on Giles lately.

Well, I guess he can't also be the perfect big brother, can he?

Even Vera did her best to help Evan with his homework, despite her lack of logic skill.

Vera: "Hm, well, I'd say the most important thing to learn is how to not get caught. Still working on that one, myself. Oh, and vaseline on the toilet seat, that one's a classic."

Evan: "Your lessons are very different from Giles's."

It seems like being an awesome big sister is just second nature to her.

Being an awesome daughter, on the other hand . . . well, that was a little more difficult.

Teen pranks were just too tempting. And those houses were just begging for a good egging!

Yup, life had definitely gone back into its usual pattern. Vera was in trouble again. Must be Tuesday!

And with that, it was time for yet another birthday.

At least Evan got a cake this time! Here he is after his teen make-over.
