Way to go Gwyneth, you'll eventually be as powerful a witch as your mother.
I'm curious how she and Sinjon will get along, he looks kind of stuffy.
Heh, he may dress kinda stuffy, but he's actually childish. It's pretty funny watching him play with a dollhouse in that fancy hat.
Oh my gosh, poor Gwenyth - having your mom in your head (that no one else can hear) while you're looking for and wooing a mate is probably up there in terms of worst case scenarios...
That said, hopefully her mom can guide her to the finish line in one shot this time though!
Haha, I know, right? Certainly a good moment for Samura to take a leave of absence.
Oh, he's quite handsome! Nicely done, Gwen!
Handsome and blue skin: an ideal spouse for this dynasty!
I approve of Sinjon's hat, big time!
He wears it well, for sure.
Surprisingly QuietSinjon Frank, formally a ghost who haunted the town theater, joined the Dojo household.
It was a bit of a strange arrangement, to be sure. Gwenyth had promised to resurrect him and fulfill his lifetime wish in exchange for fathering her children--even though her heart belonged to another.
Gwenyth: "Well, here goes nothing. This is . . . this is really awkward, isn't it?"
Sinjon: "Yup. Definitely awkward."
She half expected to hear her mother's voice chiding her to just get on with it already, but thankfully, Samura seemed surprisingly quiet. Or maybe absent? Gwenyth wasn't sure, but then again, she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
After that, it was all a bit of a blur. She wondered if Carmen knew about this part of the plan, and what he would think. Most of all, she thought about her child, the one she was making. Was it right to bring a child into the world with a man she didn't love? Would Sinjon make a good father? Would her child understand or forgive any of this?
She loved it so much already, and it was barely even a bump in her stomach.
Yet while one life in the Dojo household was just getting started, another was starting to wind down.
Romeo Rake celebrated his elder birthday.
It was strange to think of him as being old, he'd always been such a playboy. He'd kept Gwenyth amused with his smustling and diving antics all throughout her young adulthood and managed to single-handedly paint, sculpt, and photograph her. Surely he was too vibrant to grow old?
So when he decided to retire, Gwenyth was a little surprised.
Still, it was nice that Sinjon made picket signs just to celebrate, and he'd barely known Romeo for a week!
That's when Sinjon realized he was going to have to take over Romeo's role sooner or later. He decided to start with sculpting.
He didn't start out with as much luck as Romeo, but he figured he'd get the hang of it eventually.
As Gwenyth felt the first contraction, she suddenly began to panic.
A crib! The baby was coming, and they didn't even have a crib! How could she be so unprepared?
And her mother? Where was she? Samura had been with her the only time she'd done this before, with Gage.
Gwenyth: "MOOOOOOOOOMMM!"
Where could she possibly be now?
