What was there that she couldn't do?

"Have a biological child with Marisela" is one of them. :P

Bridgeport is so perfect for scenic shots. And mixology too (I love playing mixologists).

I wonder if you could use the new Grim premium content! Not sure how it works exactly though

There was some premium content released about a week ago centered around the Grim Reaper. Here's a link to our thread about it.

Marissa shan't be romantically swayed by the whims of the Watcher.  Nope.  She gets who she wants.

Yay, Marissa! Follow your heart!

I think I like Marissa because I'm terrified not to (look what happened to the prom date she didn't want, after all).
seriously, though, I'm really enjoying how you've laid out the story of her being a dominating personality and things always going her way  It, of course, begs the question, "what happens if things don't end up working out her way and there's nothing she can do to change it?"

Sorry cause I haven't commented. I was in a place with no computer and my phone's net wasn't working. Glad I was able to speak myself out, cause entire month without the Forum wolud've been a serious bummer.

Enough ranting, but i think Marissa is beautiful. She has inherited quite a lot from her mother, but hey, it's normal that girls do that. Devon certainly loses nothing when becoming an adult. He just looks a little older more experienced, that's all. And I think he's not going to slow down... at least before becoming an elder  ::)

Everything's Fine

As the weather warmed up, Devon and Shannon slipped away for a quiet date night.

Shannon: "You know," she sighed, "I worry about Marissa. I don't think she's being very realistic about dating this Marisela girl."

Devon: "Nah, I wouldn't worry too much about it. She'll be fine."

Shannon: "That is, if a certain doting dad doesn't spoil her too much. You know," she smiled wryly. "I think she gets that care-free attitude from her father."

Devon: "Hey. Could've done a lot worse, right? I could've given her my masculine good looks."

He winked, and she just laughed. He had a way of doing that, of making problems just seem to disappear.

Shannon: "I wish we had more time together."

Devon: "Career's maxed. Just a couple more skill challenges and we'll have a world of time. Maybe we'll take that houseboat out for a get away."

Shannon: "Mm. Sounds nice."

Shannon: "And after that? After the dynasty's all over?"

Devon: "Let's have a whole mess of kids. After all, our little 'Rissa turned out pretty great."

Shannon: "She really is somethin', isn't she?"

Devon: "Yeah. We did good."

Shannon: "It's my birthday tomorrow, you know. I  . . . I'm gonna be old."

Devon: "Is that what's got you all worried tonight? Relax. You'll be my smokin' hot silver-haired fox, then!"

Shannon: "Oh, Dev!" she giggled.

Devon: "Everything's going to be fine; Marissa's going to be fine," he assured her.

"You'll see," he said, but not even his optimism could prevent what happened next.

Ack!  Evil foreshadowing!  Evil!  Though that scene between Dev and Shannon was so cute!

Them cliffhangers, man. >:(

But seriously, Devon and Shannon are so ridiculously amazing together. Not even my most devoted sim-couples could match them.

You do love your hangers eh Rhoxi?  Devon and Shannon fluff, sooo romantic.  As for young 'Rissa, I really want to see her future spouse. I love the color blue so I hope to see a blueboo!  ;D

Great Dojo Meteor... Hmm... It seems like a curse, so maybe it's good you have witches to protect the family.

Devon and Shannon's love survives still. Devon is certainly more committed than certain someone(s) (Evan I'm looking at you!)
