Dear Friend,

Finals were over and it was time to wait for our report cards to see if we would graduate.

They came in the next day...

... We both passed and we both were graduating!

I couldn't wait to call home and invite mom and dad.

"Honey, that's great! Of course I will come!" Dad said.

"And mom?" I asked.

He sighed, "She's not feeling well Grace, I don't think she's up to a trip."

"Oh." I said.

"I'm sorry." He said.

I said my goodbyes as Tedd walked over to me.

"Everything okay?" He asked.

"No." I said tears coming to my eyes.

I didn't have to say anything for him to know what dad had said on the phone.

"She's going to be fine." He whispered to me.

Graduation came and I was excited to get my diploma! So was Tedd!

"I'm proud of you!" Dad said.

"Thanks dad." I said smiling.

"Your mother wanted to be here, she really did." He told me.

"I know." I said nodding.

Tedd met my father that night, but it wasn't like the whole 'I'll shoot you if you hurt her' scenario I was afraid of. After all, he was in the military for the longest time so I thought for sure he would get that speech. Dad actually liked him! I was the happiest girl in the world.

That happiness, however, didn't last long...

When we got home (Tedd moved in right away) we realized the situation with mom was getting worse. She was weak, so weak she could barely get out of bed. Dad was looking for a cheap wheel chair to get her, money was kind of tight.

I watched from the doorway as dad walked her back to the bed.

Mom smiled up at him as she took a nap. I walked downstairs before dad saw me, and my tears.

I covered my mouth and let out a sob, I wasn't ready for this. This isn't suppose to happen!

"Grace!" Tedd screamed running over to me.

"She's dying!" I sobbed.

"She isn't dying! She can get better! I've seen it happen before!" Tedd reassured me.

I just shook my head and cried more.

"Come here." He said pulling me in his arms.

Lucy was taking the news just as hard, she stayed in her room most of the time.

Something weird happened tonight, we got a visit from grandpa.

That scared me, but the weird green stuff floating passed mom scared me more. What was that?

I just hoped that Tedd was right, that maybe mom would get better. I guess we will just have to wait and see...

Love always,

Grace

What's your thoughts? Will Sarah get better? Or is the inevitable coming sooner rather than later?

Brooke's birthday will be in the next update! Let me know what you think! ;D

Sarah HAS to get better. The picture of Grace's face while she was opening her letter made me laugh. :)

Haha, I know their faces sometimes are funny when they open the letters! :P

Maybe Sarah is sick of living in a house with 15 sims haha... Yes, I did say 15 sims in one household.

I feel her pain. Right now I have just ten in my current story file...but when most of them are children it can be crazy. :P

Still though...it is heart-wrenching to see Sarah like this. :(

I was on this quest to have my sims have 24 kids in one household. It's packed! I have 18 kids in the household, plus the parents. It's complete chaos. When one baby stops crying another one starts, when one kid goes to school, all the others are crowding at the doorway, when one teen gets and A another one gets a D. Oh how I would love to kill one of each :D

Dear Friend,

"Okay, home again." Tedd said setting down my purse.

I stood in the middle of the room and looked around.

"Do you want me to make you some tea?" He asked rubbing my back.

I shook my head.

He brushed my hair from my face and wiped the escaping tears from my eyes.

"I'm here for you okay? Anything you need, just let me know." He told me.

I nodded, "Thank you."

"I... I think I want to take a nap." I said.

"Okay." He said.

"Can, can you make sure that dad is okay? Make sure he has everything he needs?" I asked.

"Of course." He told me.

"Thank you." I said.

Today has been the most emotional day in my entire life.

The whole family was struggling with this, and it would be a while before any of us would be able to go back to our normal lives.

"She loved you so much." Tedd said making me jump.

I sighed, "I know.."

"She was telling me the other day that she wanted you so bad, that she couldn't wait to meet a guy she thought would never come." He said.

"But she met dad after I was born." I said.

"Yeah, but she never once regretted her decision to have you when she did." He said.

"I miss her." I cried.

"I know." He said rubbing my arms.

"Can I be alone? For a minute?" I asked.

"Sure, I'll be inside." He said.

If you haven't figured it out yet, mom passed away. The funeral was held this morning.

The only thing I remember is... She didn't even fight it...

That and she was surrounded by that smoke stuff again...

We couldn't mope around too much because we needed to celebrate Brooke's birthday that happened right before mom passed.

Ituxi was nervous again, she still was trying to grasp this parenting thing.

Alex loved his littler girl, and couldn't wait to teach her how to walk and talk.

Ituxi got the difficult job of potty training.

Well, I have nothing else for you right now. The unexpected death of mom took all the energy I have so I will write soon.

Love always,

Grace

RIP Sarah Steele  :'(

Too many of my favorite characters are dying in stories lately. :( Goodbye Sarah...and rest in peace.

I'm glad that Tedd has Grace's back. She needs him more than ever now.

Dear Friend,

I'm sorry I haven't wrote to you in a while... a long while. Things have been crazy to say the least, the family has had to deal with several changes. Both good and bad changes. Let's start with some good changed though!

Alex and Ituxi are working hard to get Brooke walking and talking!

She has gotten so big, it's hard to believe that she is going to be a child soon!

I walked into the backyard to see what Tedd was up too.

"I-I just wanted to make sure it was fine with you first." He said.

"Tedd?"

He turned around, he was standing in front of moms grave.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Asking your mom a question." He said.

"What are you asking her?" I asked.

"Come here." He said pulling me into his arms.

I smiled through the kiss before pulling away.

"What is up with you?"

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too?" I said.

"No, I mean, really love you." He told me.

"Okay, you are starting to scare me. Why are you saying this?" I asked.

He leaned in and whispered something that caused me to stop breathing.

"Marry me."

I gasped.

He looked at me.

"Well?" He asked.

"Yes!" I gasped jumping in his arms.

I was the happiest girl ever.

Now, to the bad news. It has been a rough time for everyone in the house.

It happened so fast.

Uncle Lucas was glad to go with him!

Things just spun out of control from there.

"DAD!" I screamed running in.

Tedd ran in once he heard me scream.

The Reaper showed no mercy, he smacked dad with his cane thing and took him away forever.

Tedd came over to me and pulled me into his arms.

"He's gone!" I cried.

"NO!" Stefan screamed.

Like I said, this day just kept getting worse.

Our backyard looked like a graveyard by now...

But we had to put a smile on our faces and pull together because we had a birthday to celebrate!

Her Uncle Stefan helped blow out the candles!

Here she is! Brooke all grown up!

Well, that's all I have for you! I'll write soon.

Love always,

Grace

Here is the update! For some strange reason Lucas' urn disappeared :(

Let me know what you think! I'm going to play more tonight after work so I hope to have another update soon! ;D
