Dear Friend,
I don't think this college thing is for me. I loved the partying part of it, but the studying and exams were stressful!
I made a snowman though.
Finals for the two terms were coming up in a few days. Margaret was trying to help me study but I was still struggling.
I walked in the dorm with something that was going to solve all of my problems.
"Lucas! What is that?!" Margaret asked taking it out of my hands.
"Um, just a letter from home." I said.
She looked inside and gasped.
"Lucas! It's the exam answers?!" She shrieked.
"Yeah..." I said feeling like I was being scolded.
"I have been helping you study! So why do you need to cheat?!" She asked.
"Think of it as a back up plan! Just in case I blank when I get the test!" I told her.
"You know what, I'm going to go eat something and then we are going to study some more." She said.
I sighed.
So I decided to go practice my street art skill.
"Lucas we were suppose to study after I ate, I looked for you but you were no where to be found!" Margaret said.
"I just needed to get some air, this school thing is stressing me out." I told her.
"Lucas please try to pass this exam without the cheat sheet! I am willing to work with you, please let me help you." She said.
"I'm trying Margaret, but I cant seem to focus!" I said.
She sighed, "Do you want my help or not?"
"Yes." I said.
I didn't have the heart to tell her I was a hopeless case, but if she wanted to try and help me I would let her. What could it hurt?
I stopped by the store after my night class and picked up some flowers for her.
"For you." I said handing them to her.
"What's this for?" She asked.
"Helping me study, and for being an amazing girlfriend." I said.
"Aw!" She said smiling.
"Wait! Did you say girlfriend?" She asked.
"If you want to be." I said.
"Of course I do!" She said kissing me.
"We should get studying." She whispered.
Word of the day: Study.
Ugh.
