Another thing that's weird with twins is that they can be a day apart even when they're born in-game. They'll be toddlers on the same day, then suddenly one is a day younger.  I've seen this several times and it really annoys me.  I get them back on the same birthday with birthday cake as you said, JMZ, but it's still aggravating that it happens at all.

I got a bit worried today in my legacy. My twins aged up to toddlers, and for a while the one born first was a day older! She was six days from child, while the other was the normal seven! This fixed itself however shortly after, and now they're both 6 days from childhood. However, I find it odd that the game took away a day from their life span. I've seen the game not take away a day at midnight, like it normally should, but I've never seen it take away a day before midnight. Oh well, it's probably fine since I have 4 sims not working - the grandparents (founders) and the parents both are self-employed. The father is also family-oriented, so teaching the skills with basically two fewer days shouldn't be a problem (it's two fewer since they aged up at night around 8 PM, then they each lost a day to be 6 days from aging to a child before midnight. In the morning, they'll probably be 5 days from childhood. Sigh, I wonder if Sims 2 ever had this problem as this is my first Sims experience.).

Thanks for all the answers! Oh, and I think Sims 2 had WAY more glitches and weirdness, especially if boolprop was on. (though the townie gun was pretty cool)
