Sub-mission #6 : Welcoming a little werewolf

I'd just had a tough game of tug-of-war with Chico when the pains hit.

Meet Hershel. He's a cutie, but he was born a werewolf, like his grandmother Yumi. We've no idea how this happened, nor do the doctors at the hospital, but I'm sure it won't be a problem.

With four kids and Sam, I couldn't afford to be in the military anymore. I instead decided to strive for fortune, so that my family could live happily and comfortably.

Leighton acquired a genie lamp and met his genie.

He wished for fortune, so that we could expand the house to fit everybody.

Time seemed to fly by and soon it was time for Sam's teen birthday. He was very excited, as he'd out grown elementary school and most of his toys and couldn't wait to be a teenager. Leighton and I weren't so pleased, because it's us who are going to have to face the mood swings!

He headed off for a haircut and we weren't too happy to see the emo cut with green tips!

His outfit wasn't too bad and he kept with the army khaki theme.

Now he can help Leighton and I with the toddlers. Hershel will be a toddler soon, so it's good to have an extra pair of hands.

And I'm not getting any younger. On the contrary, I'm getting much older! I'm an elder now and I'm worried that I might not be around much longer. But I'll try my best to get these kids raised properly.

I kept with the blue, but decided to bite the bullet and embrace old age with some 'elder' elder clothing.

Sigh...that's the only think I don't like about playing Erin. She is so very near elder at the beginning of the game. Too short of a life for such an interesting character.

A werewolf? Poor kid. They're really going to need Sam's help now.

I loved how Sam aged up in an Elmo top! I bet if he chose to keep that while at the military he would become a punching bag.

Sub-mission #7 : Multiple Birthdays OR The 4 Mini Missions

It was a beautiful, snowy day. School had been called off for Sam because of the icy weather so he decided to stay home and help with little Hershel's birthday.

Unfortunately, the birthday cake went up in flames and I had to race to the rescue.

The second time, Hershel aged up with ease and this is how he looks.

His werewolf instincts are already showing, as you can see with this magnificent midnight howl.

I think he's going to be a good little hunter when he grows up.

But that doesn't mean he get's to wreck my furniture! Get off it, you little rascal!

But it wasn't all about Hershel. Only a couple of days later, it was time for the triplets to age up. We were all excited about it (mostly because there would be less diapers for us to change!) but it was still quite a task, taking them to the cake and waiting for them to age up.

They went in order of birth, which goes Katy, Kathy then Kitty.

They all immediately headed off for makeovers. Their clothes are all in their favourite colours.

Each of the girls came to me with wild stories about their dolls coming to life. I'm guessing it must have been some joke that they were pulling on me.

Sam went to his prom. It seemed a bit pointless having a whole limo just for him but he was excited about it.

And when he came home, I caught him with a piece of paper. Hmmm??

Kathy's Journal Entry #1 : Heellooo World!

Hello everyone! Kathy here, triplet number 2! I'm the one in the lime, remember?

Mum said that I could tell the story from here, because she told me that I'm the heir! Yipee! Katy, triplet number 1, was going to be the heir but she told Mum and Dad that she had 'bigger ambitions'. What she means by that I can't be sure but I'm sure her intentions will become clear in time.

We spent the day at the winter fair, Katy and me. Kitty didn't want to come because apparently everyone is too happy.

I went skating on the frozen pond. It took me a while to get the hang of it but by the end of the day, I was pretty good.

Katy, however, seem more bothered about her stomach!

She's got a wacky sense of style. Just look at her formal dress!

She's also very into chemistry. She's only managed to create one potion, but at least she's got a better understanding of logic.

 

We had a gift-giving party. It was just the family, our maid and a girl who is definitely NOT Sam's girlfriend...
(She IS his girlfriend, but don't tell him I told you!)

We each got one present. I got a teddy bear, which I was happy about.

Katy didn't tell me what she got. Maybe it was hideous and she hated it so much that she didn't want me to see it? Maybe it was something really good and she didn't want to boast about it? Who knows!

Kitty, however, wasn't shy about her present. She got a bike! Sooo unfair!
(No wonder see looks happy about it!)

Later that night, once the guests had gone, Dad had his adult birthday. He (luckily) didn't have a midlife crisis.

And, in less exciting news, Kitty and I sat down to have a slice of cake, which is the only thing in the fridge at the moment.

So, I suppose that's all there is for now. G'bye for now!

Thanks! It's not easy making original outfits when your selection of clothes is pretty limited. I was actually going for 'K' names, and I just prefer that spelling of Katy.

Oh cool! I had no idea about that! I don't even have the Katy Perry Sweet Treats stuff pack so I can hardly call myself a proper Katy Perry fan

Kathy's Journal Entry #2 : Little Brother

Mum and Dad have been working really hard. It can't be easy looking after all us kids, but they manage somehow.

Mum's still employed in the military, even though she's an elder. Here she is in her uniform.

Dad, who is unemployed, has been teaching little Hershel all his toddler skills.

But they still manage to find time for each other.

My sister Katy, has been doing some more experimenting with her chemistry set. Unfortunately, this often leads to her being blown up and she has to wander around the house looking like this...

In other Katy news, she's become very close to her imaginary friend, Felix.

Mum taught us all how to salute but Katy does it more than anyone else.

It wasn't much longer before Hershel came to join us in childhood. Dad took him to the cake.

Check out those cross-eyes!

I think he looks a lot like Mum, but obviously more boyish and, um... wolfy.

He's a great brother, but he's a little menace! He's always ripping up the furniture!

And it's pretty scary when he transforms!

But he is our brother, and we love him, no matter what.

I'm trying to get as many updates up as I can, because I've got loads of screenshots and I'm well ahead in game. Expect to see more soon!

I'd completely forgotten that Beata had that hair! Probably because I always think of it has short and pink 

Katy is just one of the cutest kids I've played in ages. It's probably because she's insane, and I always think insane Sims are really adorable!

(but I'm sure some of them wouldn't appreciate me saying that! *cough* Artie *cough)

I think I'll have to graveyard this. Erin, Leighton and Sam went on the free holiday opp but only Erin returned. When I launched the game today, everyone except Erin and Chico (the dog) had disappeared. I used resetsim on everyone and they did come back, but I have absolutely no control over anyone except Erin and Chico. Sam and Leighton are still stuck on the holiday, all the kids can't be controlled and I can't even copy the family via edit town. The file is pretty buggy and crashes every few minutes anyway.

I'll re-roll the towns and start a fresh game today. Really sorry about everyone. I really was fond of the kids, especially Katy and Kathy
