Can't Call Sim

Hi, I don't know if this is the proper board to post this, but I'm having a problem with one of my sims. I have a sim with a romantic interest, but every time she tries to either chat or invite him over, I keep getting the message that he's busy, call back in 13 hrs, or 15 hrs or whatever. In one version of this family, I cheated and added him to the family via NRAAS Master Controller and found out that he works at the fire dept, but I quit without saving. Right now, he's a teen (she fell in love with him as a teen and she just grew up via forced age transition because I have aging off. I have aging off because her dad is on the last day of his life and as soon as I put aging on, grimmie comes for him and I don't want him to go yet. Is there any way of getting him over without cheating? I just looked at his career, and it says high school which is on week days til 3pm and his work as a fire fighter (water boy level 1) which goes until 5pm. I just tried calling him after 5pm on Saturday and it says to call back in 9 hours!! I can try at 6am, but I'm guessing it's going to loop again. I went to map view and his house doesn't even show up for her friends houses so I'm guessing that somehow he got bugged. Does anybody know how to correct this without cheating? Thanks! I'm still a bit confused for how to post a picture so I can't post that.

It sounds like he's glitched - he shouldn't be able to be a firefighter while in high school.

Twallan's Story Progression actually allows for teens to have professions.

Anyways, did you try resetting the guy in question? Although it's a cheat, it's a really simple one.

Hi Trip! I tried resetting him and it didn't work.   I may well have to use master controller and add him to the family and then send him home. From there age him up to young adult and they can get married!

Well, it seems as though this particular sim is very seriously bugged. He was stuck at the firestation, I can't age him up, and I can't edit him in CAS. I had to force quit the game when I tried editing him. All I had was the blue screen as you go into CAS.

I went back to that family and added him to the household. I played him and the family for a couple of sim days and had her mother teach him to drive. Interestingly, Bernadette (his intended bride) could not teach him to drive in spite of the fact that she has gotten her license. Anyway, everything worked out now. I think the key was to add him in and play him for a couple of sim days before aging him up. They're married now with a child on the way.
