Chapter 8, Part I: Roamie's Valediction We begin this update with a birthday that I missed getting a picture of. It's young mister Roamie aging up to a young adult!
And with Generations, we all know what that means! It's Graduation time! Because everyone knows, once you graduate high school, BAM, young adult.
This is such a lovely shot of the whole family. They all show their distinct personalities in this picture, which I love so much. Tobie looks like freakin' James Bond. Perfect.
And Roamie was voted most Artistic! Go Romes!
Arie: Listen, Win. We really need to talk about the Leopoldo situation.
Winnie: We do? But why?
Arie: Well, he's not going to be back any time soon, and he's actually in a relationship right now. With another guy. So. I mean, just don't get your hopes up.
Winnie: But I thought he liked me!
Arie: Er. I'm sure he did. Does. But I think this is the end of the road.
After a good deal of brooding in her Tower, Winnie decided that the best thing for her to do was just to love Leopoldo's little girl. If she was never going to see him again, at least she could make sure his daughter got all the love she deserved.
Winnie: This is Red, like the color of love.
Lea: Wuv!
And Aeric was surprisingly lovely with his little sister as well.
Teenagers and Toddlers are not a terrible combination.
However, it was time for Lea to age up! And my, is she looking ever more like her momma.
Young Adult Roamie wanted to help out with Aunt Nihm's gardening. I'm seriously going to miss him. He was so helpful all the time.
So, this is hours after Roamie's graduation, by the way. Nihm just hates showering.
While Roamie was finishing up the garden, he got a visitor. His beautiful girlfriend, Mollie.
She really is quite the stunner. And so sweet.
Mollie: We'll probably have to leave your family home soon, Romes.
Roamie: Yeah, I know. I'm just going to stay a few more days. I think they need me around here.
Mollie: They'll be lost when you're gone, you know.
Roamie: I know.
Arie decided to express her irritation at Roamie having to leave them by painting the worst portrait of a human being ever.
I thought you were level 10 painting, Arie, come on! And now I have to hang this monstrosity in the house. Awesome.
Juno: Take care of our boy! He's a great one.
Mollie: I know it, Momma Juno.
Roamie's brothers decided to see him off with an impromptu musical spectacular.
Considering their music skills are at, max, level 3, I imagine it sounded something like this: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE KREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGG VREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK
P.S. Tobie looks like he's playing that guitar starkers. I'm okay with this.
As his brothers played them off, Roamie and Mollie said their "I Do's" in front of his mother's love fireplace.
Have a good life, Roamie! Your brothers will be joining you soon, I'm sure!
