missingdeps.idx?
« on: February 23, 2013, 03:41:04 PM »
I had completely cleaned my computer of virus and re-installed Sims and the game was working (with several annoying errors, but at least running). But, I recently installed a couple of hairs (low-polycount, by Anubis) and the game has begun crashing once again.

I deleted my DCBackup folder contents (other than ccmerged) and saw that in my DCCache folder, there was a file called missingdeps.idx
Any clue if this may be the problem?

That's always been in my DCCache folder.   You don't generally mess with that folder because it's all the information about items that you have installed into your game.

Yeah, I accidently deleted the folder once.  That was a mistake!  But I was able to put it back in, luckily.   I noted that file in it too.
