Weird Circles.....?

I got these weird circles in my game... i have no idea how they got there or how to get rid of them... the circle behind the barstool there.... i cant set in that chair. Also i cant place anything on it but a rug. lol Any ideas???

Welcome to our Forum.

Have you gone into Build/Buy Mode to see if it's anything you can grab or delete?  Also maybe turn on testing cheats and shift click the circle to see if it can be deleted.  In case you don't know, to turn on testing cheats, hold Ctrl+Shift and press the C key.  The screen will get slightly darker and you will see what you type in the upper left corner.  Type "testingcheatsenabled true" without the quote marks and press Enter.  When you're finished, repeat the sequence with "testingcheatsenabled false".  Let us know if this helps.

Yes, I can't grab in build mode. It says "cannot grab object while in use" or something like that. I haven't even thought of the shifty click with the testingcheats. I'm going to try that.

If the item is "in use", it may help to resetsim * before going into build/buy to try to remove the item.

When you hover your mouse over them it will say "Social Jig". You will have to use the "moveobjects on" cheat in order to delete them. The game creates them when two Sims are socializing to make sure they are standing in the right places. The game is supposed to remove them when the interaction is over, but it sometimes doesn't. You can delete them without any issues.

I'll try the cheat thing to delete them.  I haven't played Sims yet today, I've been sick.  But I hope I can get them gone because the Sims sometimes get stuck on them.  I eventually made a new game, but I never deleted it.
