I swear I shall never understand the finesse required for those little digital ships. Clearly there is some sort of strategy I am neglecting to notice, one that Talus no doubt has picked up on. After conquering the infamous beast known as Whack-a-Gnome, I thought I had a handle on these sorts of games.
(sigh) No matter. I will improve eventually. Assuming I remain here long enough to practice.
Nathaniel: This thing can't be working right. Marielle and I should have got the heart for sure!

...Oh God. What did I just see?! I don't mean to sound posessive, but I really do not want Marielle flirting with the other guys! OK, I am sounding posessive, but it's unfair, she's barely flirted or even talked to me! I mean, who could resist a hot, flirty Italian? I'm started to get pretty frustrated. At least if I don't get a rose (which is very likely) there are many other lovely ladies around here.

What a fascinating night we've had! I will admit that I was skeptical of the concept of a circus date, but the date was truly splendid, barring some unpleasantness with that seer. I'm still a bit shocked that Marielle and I scored the highest on that Love Machine. Truly, I would never have expected that.
Marielle continues to surprise me with her date sites. I can't help but wonder what will be next, though. After a magic show and a circus, where else can you go?
Marielle: Okay, boys, that was fun! Let's head back to the house.
Dominic: Finally!
Nathaniel: I'm watching you, Ivanifski.
Dimitri: My last name is Ivanov.

They all look like they had such a wonderful evening. Did Marielle feel my absence, I wonder?
Marielle: Whew! What a night! Well,

It seemed like everything in this date suddenly went wrong--the Love Tester malfunctioning while Marielle and I used it, what's-his-name jamming with Marielle (for the record, I'm far better at guitar than he is!) and, finally, returning to the house as just one of the crowd.
Oh, looking back at what I just said I realize how silly I sound. After all, my natural awesomeness means that a somewhat-average date with me is equal to the best date of all time with anyone else! Bring it on, rest of the week!
The Organ-Grinder was an . . . experience. Despite the name and initial appearance, it very much was a well put together place. The performers were talented, and it had food and drink, which is always a nice thing to see. And Marielle wished to dance with me, although her steps were very different than my own. Overall, it was a very . . . interesting evening.
