The Bachelorette returns from its short hiatus!

After the show has ended, Marielle and the bachelors explore the rest of the circus. But first, leaving the arena, Kenshin has the dubious pleasure of meeting some of the circus' more . . . interesting patrons.

Kenshin (thinking): I cannot imagine what would possess a person to walk about in his swimwear. How indecent. And this other fellow appears to be in his sleepwear. Perhaps this is a Starlight Shores custom.

America Hekya: Well hey there, cutie.
Kenshin: Mmblrrgh.

Marielle: Wow! Malika Mysteria!

Marielle: It is such an absolute pleasure to meet you in person! I'm a great admirer! I've never even heard of another magician who does what you do! A different show every time! And all the audience participation! It's just wonderful! You're wonderful! I'm simply speechless!
Malika Mysteria (chuckling): Clearly.
Marielle: Oh! I haven't introduced myself. I'm Marielle. Marielle Neige.
Malika Mysteria: The bachelorette. Yes, I know. I'm very pleased to meet you as well.
Marielle: Oh, yes! Yes, thank you!

Kenshin: Excuse me, my good . . . gentleman, I would like to purchase some refreshments for myself and my friends.

Mitch Lee: Sure. What would you like?
Kenshin: Ummm . . . what do you have?

Dimitri: Oh, well done, Kenshin! Pancakes, my favourite!

Kenshin: How do you like your cobbler?
Marielle: It's delicious, thank you. I'm impressed you managed to find something with Plasma Fruit for me.
Kenshin: Oh, of course. It would be inconsiderate not to find you something suitable.

Marielle: Oh, I'm sure I could have found someone suitable if necessary. I bet you taste even better than this cobbler. You're so sweet.
Kenshin: Ahem! Um, yes!

Dimitri: (starts coughing)
Talus: Are you well?
Dimitri: Oh, yeah, fine.

Talus: Perhaps if you ate more slowly you would not suffer these respiratory difficulties.
Dimitri (under his breath, mouth full): I don't think that's the problem, somehow.

Dominic (smirking, slightly sarcastic): Well, this is a romantic table.
Nathaniel (grumbling): Man, I thought I'd be on a date with Marielle, not with you. (makes a disgusted noise)
Dominic: You're not the only one, fairy-boy. This is one of the reasons I was not excited about a group date.
Nathaniel: Oh well. At least we get to spend time with her.

Okay, enough silliness.  Marielle's interaction with Kenshin was delightful!  So awkwardly cute.  He's no Everette, but Kenshin is pretty cool.  I like how Marielle manages to make the bachelors feel more relaxed and afraid all at the same time.

I myself loved that exchange between Dom and Nathaniel the first time I read it, and I still love it now. Brilliant move there, Rosa. Not that the Kenshin choke doesn't have its own layer of charm, but I figured I'd draw attention to someone else's character first. :P

That was just too cute!  Lovely job as always.  Hehehe, loved Dominic and Nathaniel sharing a table.

Bahahaha
She really does. She's trying to be comforting, hahaha, I think she just doesn't realise how very unnerving it can be to remind someone you could eat them at any time.

She is, isn't she? I'm very proud of her.

Brilliant move? Am I reading too much into your choice of words, or are you implying ulterior motive?  ??? I'm probably just paranoid. Hahaha

No motive implied, unless you'd consider getting a laugh out of me a motive, in which case, yes.

Great. Now I ship them. :-[ I'm naming this pairing 'Pancakes'.

Is it a bad sign when we start shipping the bachelors with each other instead of with Marielle?  ;)

I hope not, because if I recall correctly, so far we've had Tenshin, Pancakes (?) ummm, okay I don't recall correctly, what else is there?

I thought they were eating pancakes. 'Sides, it's a better name then 'Groupie'.

Unless you have a better idea. Then I'm open to that.

Not everyone is eating pancakes. Only Dimitri. If I recall correctly, Dominic is having dessert pizza and Nathaniel is having a cheese Danish.

Then it's Dessert. Because they are as sweet as sugar. :)

All right then. I have a low metaphorical sugar tolerance, but we'll go with that.
