Erika: Sure, handsome, I'd be happy to give you a tour. Where would you like to begin?
Everette: Young lady! Look at the length of that skirt! It's simply indecent!

What Everette said really made me think. I know Maman wants me to wear skirts, but she would probably agree with Everette that this one is too short. He knew her before I was born, so I guess he would know. Papa is having a hard time resigning himself to the idea that I am going to be surrounded by boys that like me. I don't think he would like this skirt much either. But Platinum showed it to me and I thought it was so cute! I still think it's cute, but I'm questioning it as well. Everette's approval is really important to me. He's like a combination of a real-life fairy tale prince, an old family friend, and a movie star to me. It's hard to explain.
Marielle looks absolutely stunning. I have no idea how Everette came to the notion that she was indecent. She even took it upon herself to wear tights and sleeves, what more could she have possibly covered?! Rosen has a name for people like this, but I cannot remember what it is at the moment.
Everette: And that fairy fellow! He's also quite inappropriate! Terrible manners. So . . . much . . . IMPROPRIETY!

Well, I did warn you all that I can be quite grumpy at times. There's just so much impropriety and bad manners in society these days that sometimes it just drives me nuts! The things people wear these days are just shocking! In my day it was all grey hair and kimonos; now it's all short skirts, parties, and crazy daredevils! *sigh* What do you think, am I just too old and stodgy for a lady like Marielle?
I don't know what to think of this habit Dominic has of jumping in every time someone says something negative to me. It's kind of like he's defending me or trying to reassure me, but it also kind of feels like he sees an opportunity to make himself look better by comparison and he seizes it. I don't know how to put this . . . it almost feels like it's lacking in sincerity?
Kenshin: Miss...I mean, Marielle, may I buy you something to drink?
Marielle: Of course, Kenshin! I'd love a Falling Forever.

I'm trying to encourage Kenshin. He's so adorably shy! It's really endearing how he gets so nervous. But I want him to be comfortable with me as well. I'm trying to get him to loosen up by being a little flirty. I thought it was sweet of him to offer to buy me a drink. It was really clear that he's never bought a girl a drink before.

You wish to ask my thoughts about the drink between M- Marielle and I? Well, I must say that this manor has a most excellent taste in drinks, even if their names for them are a bit... odd. And I did have the greatest of company with me. Marielle looks quite elegant tonight. That skirt may be rather short, but I feel like that simply adds a bit of flavour to the outfit. We enjoyed ourselves before the first show, and that's all I have to say about that.
Well, there is one more thing. If you had told me a year ago that I would have seen a ghost playing the piano so beautifully, I would have laughed at you. You truly see the strangest things when you leave home. What's next, actual kappas?

(laughs) He is too funny. Even when he compliments me, he's complimenting himself. Or maybe it's vice versa.
(shakes head) I don't know. I have a theory. I think he's more emotionally vulnerable than he lets on. I think he's afraid if he drops his bravado everyone will know what a softie he is on the inside. Still, what he said was really sweet, and it really did cheer me up. He is so fun to be around.
Marielle is a beautiful young woman, and she looks fantastic in that dress! Call me new-fashioned, but I've seen much shorter skirts in Starlight Shores and Marielle's is perfectly modest! I don't know why her supposed "favorite" was making such a big deal about it. And I know that I should probably be tap-dancing with happiness because the "Great Everette Dojo" has less chance of winning the roses, but . . . I don't like seeing her unhappy. Er, not for any romantic reason though. I just find that unhappy people make my Beauty-Ometer go down by nearly 7 percent! Yeah, that's it. Peace out!

So far this date has been great! Marielle and I...well, I'm not trying to boast, but we seem to be really compatible! I really hope I get a rose. But...Everette...*cringe*, he really needs to get with the times! I mean, I think Marielle looks beautiful, and her outfit isn't even that short.
I am having the best time tonight! Being here with all the boys is a blast. Not to mention, it's such an honour to be here. And I got to meet both Erika Saenz
and Douglas Lyle! That was exciting. I could have sworn the mixologist looked just like Vanya Kurschnov, but I wouldn't expect her to be serving drinks. Maybe I was mistaken. I can't wait for the shows! This is going to be fantastic!
