It is morning in the bunk room at the Bachelorette Mansion and all of the bachelors are sound asleep.
That is, until dapper host Devin Ashton strides in, flicking on the lights as he comes. 
Devin: Wake up, gents!
Bachelors
(overlapping): Wha--? Huh? Is it morning?
Talus: Aahh! Sunlight!
Everette: Beg pardon, old chap, but you seem to be blocking me.
Devin: Nathaniel!
Nathaniel: What? What! I'm up!
Devin: Get dressed, all of you. I need to talk to you before breakfast.
Devin: Good, that's good, gather round.
Devin: All right. Now that I've got you here, I'd like to explain a few things.
Devin: Tonight will be the first date with the lovely bachelorette, Marielle. Let me tell you how this will work. Over the next few weeks you will go on a series of dates with Marielle. Some will be group dates, where several of you will be present. The others will be one-on-one--just you and Marielle.
Devin: Before each date, Marielle will send a 'date card' providing the name or names of the bachelors going on the date, as well as a clue to what the date will be. You never know when you will get to go on a date, so make sure that you take advantage of any time you get with Marielle. That is your time to shine! I have the first date card here. Are you ready?
Bachelors: Yes!
Devin: All right. She's tucked the date card into this book,
The Spook Who Loved Me. It says: 'Nathaniel, Kenshin, Dominic, Leopold, Dimitri, Talus, and Everette. Come meet me in my world and experience its magic.' It's signed Marielle, with a heart.
Nathaniel and Dimitri: Aww, that's cute.
Talus: What does it mean?
Devin: The heart? Oh, the clue. That's for you to figure out. Anyway, it looks like you are all going on the first date. Congratulations! I'll leave you now to get ready. Which reminds me--there's a PS: Wear your formal clothes.

(overlapping): Oh, good.

It's a shame that all the contestants are being invited onto this date--I would have preferred a little one-on-one time with the lovely lady. However, it's not like I can't hold my own in a group situation. Based on the book the card was delivered in,
The Spook Who Loved Me, I feel confident that she was referring to me individually, or myself and the other supernaturals in the group. Not any of the vampire-hating jerks, for sure!
She said to "Come meet me in my world and experience its magic." I assume this means that we're traveling to Moonlight Falls, or if we can't leave Starlight Shores, some Moonlight Falls-themed area. As for the heart . . . the spring festival, perhaps? Or maybe the Fairy Atrium. In any case, I'm so excited to prove my worth to Marielle!
What? All of us are going on a date? I...how is this possible? It's going to be horrible. We're all going to bicker and fight.
Well, I guess that we all have a chance to impress her. I'm going to do my best, that's for sure. Marielle also mentioned something about 'her world'. Could this mean we're going to Moonlight Falls?
Where do I think we're going? Well, based on the book, it sounds like we're going to a graveyard. Marielle said she wants to show us the magic of her world, so maybe it's a garden, too--with some lovely glow in the dark plants? Hm. I must remember to capture a photograph of Marielle ensconced in her magic world.
Well, this should be interesting. I had hoped for an individual date first because I prefer to get to know Marielle better without the others distracting her attention. Still, I’d like to experience the magic of her world. A personal tour of her world will give me more insight into who she is and how she perceives things and us.
As for the clue, I’m not sure if the title of the book the card was placed in is part of the clue.
The Spook Who Loved Me is ambiguous. It may allude to spooks being ghosts or spies? I think ghosts are more likely to be a part of the world of Moonlight Falls than spies. So I’m thinking, maybe a ghost who loved her. Her parents are still living so perhaps the ghost of a grandparent. Given the longevity of vampires, if I met the ghost of her grandparent, I’d finally meet someone from my time! That would be very interesting indeed!
I don’t know if formal wear is also a clue. But when meeting someone for the first time, it is better to be dressed for the occasion. Besides, I think I look quite dapper in the suit my friend Christopher chose for me.
Back where I am from, 'spooks' are most well-known for guarding treasure and driving people to madness and eventual death. For some reason, I highly doubt that is something that any of us are going to be experiencing today. Marielle acts as if the world she comes from is a much more upbeat place, with possibly less hostile spirits. Going to Moonlight Falls itself seems unlikely, but maybe there is a museum exhibit . . . ? I would appreciate it if they would just tell us outright where we are going.
I was awakened this morning by the host of our show, Mr. Ashton. As he said it, Marielle was waiting for us in "her world." Now, I am no master with puzzles, (my sister was always more suited to those) but I believe I have an idea there. If I recall correctly, Marielle is a big fan of books and the adventures waiting to be read within. It strikes me as a possibility that Marielle may be waiting for us in the local library.
The Spook Who Loved Me? 'Come meet me in my world and experience its magic'? *sits back shaking his head with a smile on his face* Wow. They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach; not this man. This girl knows the way to my heart: brilliant use of words! Oh, be still my heart. *takes a deep breath* So, sounds like we might be hanging out with some supernatural sims, at night, maybe at the vampire lounge. Or maybe she's taking all of us to Moonlight Falls to meet her family. Wow, that would be an epic initiation. *rubs the back of his neck* Now I've made myself nervous. My next book - A Slob Story: Sweating Puddles.
I'm so excited to go on the first date! I think my clues were really clever. I wonder if the boys will figure them out. In retrospect, I think maybe I made it too obvious. Well, we'll see if they can guess! I hope at least some of them are surprised. I'm kind of nervous about how they'll handle it. Well, I guess I'll just have to be patient!
