My name is Leopold Alexis Elijah Walker Gareth Thomas Mountbatten, Duke of Albany. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance.
My uncle Millard informs me that I am a blemish on the family name.
As a man born in a time of leisure and grace, trained at the King's Academy and schooled in etiquette and chivalry, I amuse myself with inventions and the culinary arts.
In a life as stagnant as mine, that I can amuse myself at all is an evolutionary miracle.
But indolence is not for me. It is said that without the culinary arts, the crudeness of reality would be unbearable. Thus, I have chosen the culinary arts as my profession as life is not solely composed of tasks, but tastes.
Can I tempt you with a meal that is the result of reflection and study, prepared with care, perfect ingredients, timed to perfection and presented with style and flair?
In addition to the culinary arts, I have dabbled in several other activities that have the potential to increase the quality of life for other Sims. My primary desire in life is to make it more comfortable for others, whether it be by producing better-quality food;
Making things to make the world a little more beautiful;
Or making nectar to improve Sims' spirits in times of sadness.
I don't restrict my care to only human Sims. I love my little calico cat Gracie, and I try to make her life more beautiful, too.
Being no angel but only an imperfect human man, I do occasionally take some time for myself as well.
My uncle instructs me to marry well to maintain the lifestyle I am accustomed to.
I don't need to marry for money. I'm not afraid of hard work (or money trees).
But I believe marriage is the promise of eternal love.
As a man of honour, I cannot promise eternally what I've never felt momentarily.
I have been informed love is a leap. Lamentably, I was never inspired to jump. I do not lack courage, only inspiration. “The bravest are surely those with the clearest vision of what is before them - glory and danger alike - and, notwithstanding, go out to meet it."
