Downloading patch help

So I've found a place where I can download a patch and I can hopefully move it to my other computer without internet to update my game. So my question is can I? How do I do it and where to put it? And do I only need to do the latest one? Or them all since the last patch my game got? I've been downloading things to my game like clothes and what not, but they are not looking and working right since my game isn't up to date. Please any help is much appreciated.

You can download the "superpatch" from the link at EA's Sims 3 forum. Then, copy the patch to a USB thumb drive, DVD (or other portable storage) and run it on your non-Internet connected computer. The superpatch contains all patches for the game, expansions and stuff packs that EA has released, so they tend to be large. The current 1.48 patch is over 1 GB, so make sure you have enough space.
