Today, it's neither Hesione nor Priamos who will tell you what happened in our house, it's me, Hekabe.
My mother-in-law asked me "since I was the one who experienced the most important incident in this update".
Only a few days after me it was Telamon's time to age up. Sadly no one was thinking of his birthday so he aged up in the bathroom.
I'm not sure whether it was due to the fact that everyone else than his wife ignored his birthday but he felt old, wrinkled and unattractive. For short: He got a midlife crisis. Fortunately Hesione could convince him that he was still the fetching man she was in love since her childhood.
While they were busy with some early celebrating I noticed that my wedding night wasn't without consequences. I was pregnant!
I was like hovering in joy when I went straight to the balcony to tell my husband the good news.
Priamos was absolutely excited.
"I still can't believe that there is really our baby growing up!", he whispered radiant with happiness.
The next one who had to know the great news was my mother in law. She gave me a big hug before she leant forward to tell by my tummy.
She really was enthusiastic and said that she can't wait for her first grandchild to be born.
Seems like the little one heard what his grandma was saying. It was a relaxed evening when suddenly I went into labour.
My husband wasn't a big help since he talked with his sister about the secret of the perfect photography. They were so deep in their conversation that they didn't notice my huffing and puffing.
"I'm having a baby! Your baby, if I have to remember you!", I gasped but none of them heard me.
This was maybe the first time in my life I cursed the close link between the two siblings. They are so much like each other that they can loose themselves in their own world. So, since I couldn't expect any help from this side and Rhoio was at work I had only one possibility. Calling for my oldest friend.
Telamon realized the situation in the moment he entered the room. And he did what every man would do: He hit the panic button.
You can't believe how much I was wishing myself into my beloved garden in this moment!
Thanks to all gods Telamon finally managed to get me to the hospital...or something like that. I was the one who drove the car but he was holding my hand the whole time to support me.
Let me introduce you: My dearest boy, Hektor Oceanus. He loves the outdoors like me and is brave like his sometimes useless father.
Little Hektor caught Priamos' heart the first moment he saw him.
When I saw my husband with our child I could forgive him his lack of assistance during the birth. they are just too cute together!
My mother-in-law was the proudest grandmother ever. Not even the maid could escape when she showed off with her first grandchild.
It was all the time someone around our little boy to mollycoddle him. Priamos is scared that his son would grow into a spoiled child but Hektor is still a burrito so I think it wouldn't affect him much.
Even if spending time with my son is my first priority I couldn't resist my old passion: The sprinkler. There is nothing better to relax!
But soon after my journeys into the garden I'm back to cuddle my son.
Rhoio was as often in the nursery as me. Maybe cause she was busy with her requirements by the time Hesione and Priamos were nooboos.
After all their was still another young couple in the house.
Hesione and Telamon spent most of their days flirting and kissing each other. They catched up for the time they lost during their age-gap. It is so cute to watch!
In the evening, when she visited the city to work on her photography challenges, Hesione suddenly stopped and stared into the night sky.
I think there will be a game partner for my little boy in the near future!
