Hello! I need urgent help with my laptop. This is very important. I have Windows 8 and I accidently changed the moniter to second moniter only. Now I only see a black screen whenever I start my computer. Please tell me how to fix this!

I'm not sure how to help you with the problem. If you don't get an answer here though, try a forum called bleepingcomputer.com  I go there whenever I'm having technical/virus problems with my computer.

I'm guessing that if you set up a second monitor, you should be able to see your computer. Do you have access to another one, maybe someone can loan you one. Microsoft has an article here on setting it up. I'm guessing that you accidentally chose the "Show your desktop on only one monitor" option, you should be able to change the display once you have the second monitor running. Once you have Dual-Display (or similar) running, you can disconnect the Monitors.

I do not have access to another monitor. I've googled it and I read that some people tried to hook it up to a second monitor and it did not work. So I'm kind of reluctant to try this method.

You could try using Safe Mode in Windows 8. It's a little technical, but there are step-by-step instructions at How-To Geek.com that cover booting into Windows 8 Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode, you should be able to reset your graphics settings to use the laptop as the main display rather than a monitor.

I'm a little curious as to how you were able to set the main desktop to an external display without one hooked up to it. Usually the option doesn't show up unless the system detects more than one monitor.
