That was my thought - even with aging disabled, you can use a birthday cake (either from the grocery store, or in Buy mode under Outdoors -> Outdoor Cooking) to turn the baby into a toddler - and then the next day, use another cake to turn the toddler into a child, if you prefer.

Thanks for all your help. The baby is now a teen so Sim Mama and Sim Papa will not be so busy anymore :)

Since you are so new, I highly recommend you check out all the Guide has to offer. There are articles on just about every feature of the game. I used it a lot when I was starting out and even later on! For example, Raising Kids would be helpful for your previous situation. And as you see, the Forum members are always ready to help if you have more questions!
