This update will be short because I have now caught up with my "in game" playing. I've been waiting for Twallen to update his Story Progression mod. I believe he is on his final testing so I should be able to play this family pretty soon. I miss them  :'([/i]

I hope this isn't too off topic, but I thought the Story Progression mod was already updated? The page for it says the newest version is 1.63. Is it still not complete though?

Really? I looked at it a couple of days ago. I haven't received an email saying it's updated so I just assumed it wasn't. I'll take a look, thanks! Maybe I can play now! ;)

You may be right though. My game wasn't working right after I installed a couple of mods and I think it was Story Progression that was giving me trouble. If you think of it, I'd like to know if it's just my game or if the mod isn't working correctly in other people's games too.

According to their website, Story Progression hasn't been finalized yet. It can be downloaded by people who can test it for problems.

Ah, I didn't see that. That would be why my game was messed up. Thank you!

Victoria is beautiful! I just finished reading this from the beginning, and I have to say that I love the way you write it, since it informs us on what's going but at the same time has a nice flow to it.  I hope you are feeling a lot better and that everything is well.

Thank you so much, Sadie! I am feeling better now so have been updating more often. I think I'm going to try Story Progression tomorrow to see if it will work for me...even though it's not finalized. I REALLY want to play this family!

I have had a major problem with my game. I was unable to open any of my saved games, including the Winterly Town Jump. I did a total reinstall over the last few days. Still unable to open my games. I am calling this Challenge "Complete" instead of a fail because they have, after all, made it through eleven generations. That should count, right?

I am starting a new Town Jump immediately...and I've already saved and opened the game file so I'm good to go. Would you believe the first town rolled is the same first town as the Winterly's town? Of course, the family will be different. The new Jump will feature Andrew and Jewel Song. See you in a new thread.

Congratulations/sorry for the glitches...your stories are wonderful.  Can't wait to read about the Songs.

Sorry to hear that, but good luck with the new family! And maybe you'll get another green spouse. :P

It's a shame we can't get to see Victoria have kids, but wow at eleven generations! And congratulations on getting so far with an almost exclusively green bloodline! I would definitely call that "complete"  :). I always love your stories and I'm totally looking forward to reading about the Songs.

This has been such a fun story to read. It's a shame about the save file, but a respectable run nonetheless! You can bet that I will be reading the next one for sure. :D

Thank you for your kind words. Can you believe I had tears in my eyes when I lost this family? As my daughter said, "Mom, it's only a game!" Still, I will miss them.

I can understand the feeling of loss of your family.  When one of mine die I hate it, I've yelled NO! when it happens to mine.

Did so yesterday, this couple didn't get to live to see their grandchildren born, to hold them.

To play them to the final town, that is going to be hard to give them up, to say this is it guys and gals.  They become real to us.  Not physical real, but real still.

Congratulations, Jude, on your long run with this family!  Sorry about how it ended, but I definitely agree that 11 generations qualifies as "complete" so I'm moving this story to the Completed Stories board where people can continue to enjoy it. And good luck with your next story.
