Thank you Blayzen!

This update will be a little shorter. The next town is coming soon!

It's official. Patrick has a girlfriend. Of course it is Betty Earthsong. I can't wait to see the children these two produce!

There are still 7 days of teen-hood before he can get married; 8 for Betty.

The lovely Adele left with Grim at age 94. She will be missed.

After the usual long, drawn out teenager antics and pranks, the twins are now Young Adults. Both are quite nice looking.

Even though Penelope will be staying in Hidden Springs, she will have one final picture. Isn't she beautiful?

Patrick now proposes to and marries Betty Earthsong.

The family is packing to get ready for their move to the next town. We'll see you next time in Lucky Palms.

There's nothing more romantic than a private wedding next to a broken, smoking laptop  :P. Congratulations to Patrick and Betty (whose names sound really cute together)! I hope they adjust to the hotter climates OK.

I know, huh? But, Betty left three times before the proposal so I grabbed the moment when I could...LOL

Yay! another judewright town jump story, can't believe I didn't see this until now!

for future reference, adopting children count towards the surrounded by family LTW... and you can adopt them as children.... so you might have been able to squeeze them in there before Adele died.

can't wait to read more :D

Thank you. I thought children had to be "naturally" born and be infants, not adopted. I learn something new every day.

Betty Earthsong will make for some very interesting nooboos given her skintone. She is such a pretty sim, and I'm glad she and Patrick got together.

I really need to get Hidden Springs. :)

Awesome update! Congratulations to Betty & Patrick! It looks like you'll have a chance at a green generation in your next town and I, for one, can't wait to see it happen in the next town!  ;)

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments. It's nice to know that someone is following the Winterlys through their adventures. As noted in my Loving Legacy, I apologize for the late update. My new "Significant Other" is taking up a lot of my simming time. I can't complain though because he is such a nice distraction ;)

The Winterly family in Lucky Palms consists of Peter Winterly, retired Elder.

Patrick Winterly. Traits: Brave, Athletic, Absent Minded, Genius, Hopeless Romantic. BECOME AN ASTRONAUT

Betty (Earthsong) Winterly. Traits: Athletic, Mooch, Artistic, Friendly, Angler. MASTER OF THE ARTS

Here is their (unfinished) house. I will finish it while the family is living there.

The first order of business? Nooboo! The bed didn't work, but the hot tub did. There were chimes!

Next, Patrick goes to the Military Base to secure his job. He is going to have to work hard to learn the Handiness skill.

Betty will learn how to cook. She won't be taking a job because, besides taking care of nooboo(s) and cooking, she will be learning painting and guitar skills. That is if she can stop bowing to the throne. Three times in one night. Poor Sim. She will be joining the Painting profession though.

Yes, she's definitely pregnant.

Peter followed his wife and left the family at age 97. Goodbye, Peter Winterly.

Ready to see the nooboo? Here he is. Introducing William Winterly. He is Excitable and a Virtuoso. (From here on, I will only roll traits instead of the Lifetime Wish. I will choose the LTW from one of the four that show up at Young Adult. -- Thanks for the idea, Audren and Ausette!) He's not green :( what's up with that? I guess they'll have to try again...right away.

I have the interior of their house pretty much decorated. Now, the part that I hate...the exterior. That will probably get done a little bit at a time.

Toddler time for William. He looks a lot like his daddy only lighter in color.

While Daddy is teaching William to walk, Mommy is giving birth to another boy, Nathaniel. He's green! We have a winner :) Nathaniel will be the heir...just because I wanted a green heir. His traits are Brave and Friendly.

Oh my goodness, I feel so honoured! To think of how worried I was about changing the rules (I didn't want to disrespect the spirit the challenge was originally designed in).  :o

The boys have such cute parents, they can't help but turn out adorable  :). The front of the house looks fine to me, too. I guess you could incorporate lighter colours to fit with the surrounding architecture or something? Anyway, congratulations on your new significant other (yay!), and thanks for telling me that you've updated the Lovings! *runs off the read*

Thank you, ArtsyGirl and Ausette! Ausette, no need to worry about changing the rules a bit. I like rolling the traits first better any way :) My main difficulty with the exterior of my houses is the landscaping. I never know where to put stuff.

I feel honored to have contributed to your new rolls, as well. The best part for me is trying to guess what their traits will be, since I'm convinced that the game is giving me signs of what it wil roll.  :P

Welcome Nathaniel and William! Yay for greenboos!  ;D

Thank you, Audren and Blayzen!

William is learning his toddler skills very quickly. Of course he is! He has very doting parents.

Now that William has learned what he needs to know, he plays with his toys while his mother plays the guitar and his little brother takes a nap.

At least Mom and Dad get to eat together occasionally. It's nice having one of them staying home with a profession so that she can take care of the nooboos and meals.

Okay, burglar number 4. I didn't take a picture of her the first time she came...the day the family moved into their Lucky Palms house.

It's Nathaniel's birthday. Now it's his turn to learn all of his toddler skills. He does look like his mother with those eyes and green skin! What a cutie!

He's not only cute; he's strong! Betty doesn't even have to use her arms to hold him.

What are you boys up to? Playing in the snow. You're going to freeze!

William is a child and becomes a Party Animal to go with his Excitable and Virtuoso traits. One of Betty's (unknown) parents must have had auburn hair color.

His first activity as a child is to ride the spring rider.

I have a feeling that William will be spending a lot of his time in the basement...dancing.

I just had to try this grill! Shrimp, anyone?

Time for another birthday. This one for Nathaniel. He gained the Bookworm trait to add to his Brave and Friendly traits.

Birthday cake for everyone!

Nat's not as cute as he was as a toddler but still looks good. I think the green skin might be throwing off my idea of "cuteness." LOL

Patrick and Betty spend most of their free time flirting. It looks like they're a really good match for each other.
