Chapter 29: Bridgeport Finale
Meet Arthur Singh! I guess that watermelon-only diet didn't work.
Mackenzie, Vince, and Arthur move out.
Poor Mia is upset. Shante invites her over to cheer her up.
Shante: It's okay Mia, you're a strong woman. You'll get through this.
Mia: *sniff* Thanks but..Tasha will never get to know her father. Harlan and Ricky will barely remember him. I knew his time was coming, but I wasn't expecting it to come so fast.
Shante: Don't worry, it will be okay.
Mia: Thanks Shante. I wish Mistress Christa was here.
Shante: What..?
"Shante, you don't want to know."
Gavin, meanwhile proposes to Anita.
Gavin: Anita will you marry me?
Anita: Oh my goodness Gavin! It appears your foot is stuck in that hedge.
Gavin: Excuse me, but I asked; will you marry me?
Anita: Oh, pardon me. I accept.
Anita moves in and ..Oh....my.....watcher...She is
so pretty.
Anita: Why, thank you for that compliment.
Anita's traits are proper, unlucky, loves the Outdoors, mooch, and friendly.
Gavin holds a bachleor party.
Gavin: Vince, can you give the toast? Just don't mention lawsuits, okay?
Vince: Sure.
Vince: ..and that's why I'm dropping all my lawsuits against Gavin. I could just spray nectar at him instead.
Gavin: Vince I told you-
Gavin: Hey, what are you doing?!
Vince: This is for taking top bunk!
Gavin: NOOOOO!
Gavin: Great Vince! You made me change into this underwear!
Derell: Oh my goodness! It's the famous Vince Singh! Let me take a picture!
Vince: Seriously Uncle Derell?
Two party dancers show up, but everyone ignores them.
The night goes wild. People pass out, spray each other with nectar, and two party guests even stay until the morning.
And on that morning, Shante ages up to elder.
"Gavin, be careful with that party blower!"
Gavin: I will.
Shante: How do I look?
Anita: *gapes and eyes widen* You actually got good clothes!
Shante gets a new hairstyle, which actually suits her well.
Then the wedding happens. It is located at Butterfly Esplanade, it has a gazebo that I converted to a wedding place.
Looks like it's time to get married.
*wedding music*
Among those attending are Moxie Logan (Anita's mom), Bert Rubble-Rake, Bert's father Romeo, Mia, Mackenzie, Vince, Carley, Tanika, Jerod, Tanisha, Derell, and Harlan.
Delilah: I can't wait for us to get married Bert!
Bert: What? I thought we weren't dating.
Delilah: WHAT?!
Bert: Tanisha is my girlfriend! We never even went on a date!
Delilah: What about those love letters I sent you?
Bert: Oh those? I threw them in the trash.
Delilah: Okay, that's it! Bert, we are through!
Bert: Whatever.
Jerod: Could this get any more awkward?
Other then that mishap, the wedding goes well. The Singhs plan to leave after, so they say goodbye to everyone. Derell, Carley, Harlan, Tanika, Tanisha, Jerod, Mia, Ricky, Vince, and Mackenzie.
Well, we say goodbye to Bridgeport. I feel very bad for ending the story on such a negative note.
This town was pretty eventful, but I think I liked Sunlit Tides better. But you know what? The next town is out of this world! Literally! Okay, I think I just gave it away.
