Chapter 25: The Pattern
Allen: *sniff* I'm so sad. Jessica's gone.
Kenneth: It's okay dad, you'll see her again someday.
Vince: Gavin, this is your first day of school. If you humiliate me, I'll sue you.
Gavin: Oh boy.
Gavin luckily doesn't humiliate Vince. His second school day is in fact a trip to the local bistro. The girl beside him is Mackenzie Striker, daughter of Stella and Richie Striker.
Gavin: Quick! If we run fast enough, we might lose Mr. Hartley!
Yes, their teacher is Big Hartley, Mia's husband. Unbelieveable.
Big: DARN KIDS!
Shante: YAY! My first job as a paramedic. I need to perform a vaccination clinic. I cannot wait! There will be so many people.
*cricket chirps*
"There's no one here."
Shante: Oh, be quiet.
"Look who came out, Priscilla! Long time, no see!"
Priscilla: Hi, it's been awhile. Things have been rather....busy.
Allen: Hi mom! I'm an elder now.
Priscilla: I feel much older all of the sudden.
Delilah: HELP ME!
"WHAT?"
Delilah: I'm stuck! This glitch is so uncomfortable.
"Why is it that toddlers always encounter graphic glitches with their toys?"
Vince: I hate homework. I'll sue-
*POOF*
Gnome: HELLO THERE! I'm Maxwell the gnome and I'm Eugene's cousin. Hope you don't mind if I sleep on this table.
Vince: AHHHHH!
"YAY! We got a gnome! Hi Maxwell!"
Vince: Oh, I almost forgot! Prom is tonight! I need to ask Anita out!
Anita: Vince, a question has been on my mind, why did you invite to this park instead of your residence?
Vince: Our apartment is glitched, whenever I try to invite someone over they say yes, then automatically say they had something come up.
Anita: Hm, I understand. Wait a minute, it's prom! Gotta go! Wait, HOW RUDE OF YOU TO INVITE ME TO THIS GROUP OUTING! When we don't do anything! See you, bye! *runs off*
Vince: Umm....what just happened?
Vince enters the school prom (or as I call it, 'The Arena') and gets into a brawl with two classmates. He gets rejected for a dance, on the brightside, he's crowned prom king!
*camera pans*
"What the-?!"
"Oh no. No! Allen, we JUST lost Jessica! Now your dying?"
Allen: It's okay watcher.
Delilah: Grandpa? What's going on? Come and play with me!
Allen: Goodbye, my dear grandchild.
Grim: *singing* AND YOUR GONNA HEAR ME ROAR! Wait, I've been summoned? Oops, pardon my singing. Allen Singh huh? Well, your dead. Obviously. Be careful though. The world your about to enter is very dangerous.
Allen: Wait a sec-
Grim: Well, times up! *Grim and Allen vanish*
Delilah: Grandpa, where did you go?
Rest in peace Allen Singh, you were the first heir to die, I had known you since April when the Town Jump started.
I'm sort of beginning to sense a pattern with the deaths here. One Singh passes away while sleeping, and the other passes shortly after. Priscilla died while she was sleeping, and Matias died soon after. Jessica died while she was sleeping, and Allen died soon after as well.
The family is devastated by Allen's death, but Derell visits to help cheer them up.
Derell: Hi there nephew! Does my pose make you feel better?
Gavin: A little.
Vince: *sniff* I'm so sad Grandpa died! I was starting to consider dropping all my lawsuits!
Soon, the family moves on. Gavin ages up to teen.
Gavin: SPARKLES!
His favorite color, light blue, suits him perfectly. He looks almost exactly like Shante.
"Let's check on the rest of the family. Carley? How's Tanisha doing?"
Carley: She's fine. I told her how horrible her Aunt Christa was and she believes me. I also recently gave birth to twins, Tanika and Jerod.
Tanisha: Mommy, who are you talking to? I hope your not going crazy like you said Aunt Christa did...
Carley: Tanisha, no one will EVER be as crazy as Aunt Christa.
"Mia! You gave birth! What's his name?"
Mia: His name is Harlan. Big wanted me to name him similair to his last name.
"Okay, so welcome Harlan, Jerod and Tanika!"
We end this chapter with Allen's urn. Rest in peace Allen.
