The House of Aching Memories



Roderick's mother always warned him to stay away from Midnight Hollow when he was a kid.

"It's not safe," She would say, "Not safe for you, and me. I don't want you to end up like your father."

His father. His father. Roderick didn't remember much about his father, he had vague glimpses of a dark haired man, his expression angry, storming out of a door. That was all. He grew up, and had a love for science. Then one day, fresh out of college, a woman approached him. Actually, it wasn't a woman, or a man. It wasn't even human, although it looked like one. As they shook hands, he didn't feel her hand at all. Weird. He could see her, hear her, but not feel her? That was when he knew, this person didn't exist.

"I have a job for you." She said.

"What is it?"

She handed him a list of ingrediants. "Do you ever want to meet your father?"

"I think he's dead." Roderick replied.

She laughed. "Oh, no. he's not dead. Not at all."

"Can I see him?"

"No. Not unless you make what's on that list." She began to walk away and then turned around. "You know," she said, "One way or another, we're ALL connected." She walked away.

19 years later...



"Ok, I'm finished. I want to meet him."

"You'll have to travel to Riverview....where do you live again?"

"Midnight Hollow." He said without a twinge of remorse.

"It'll take about an hour. Go, I've booked a plane for you."

She hung up. Now, she was alone. In the house of her past. She could still here all the sounds that once housed it. Her mother's frying pan sizzling, her little brother playing in the backyard...and then..they were just gone.

"MMMMMM! MM!" The muffled sound came from the closet. She ignored it.

Pretty soon, Roderick opened the door.

"You have it?" She asked.

"Yes. He handed her the vile."

"Good." She replied. "Now, I would like you to meet...your father.

She opened the closet door. And a gagged Matias Singh stumbled out.

Chapter 23: Dancing During A Delivery: Take Two!



Gavin certainly resembles Shante, I may have him as the heir. Look at those eyes! Could you say no to that face? He sorta looks like an anime character with those eyes. 



Gavin: BEEP! BEEP! Look out everyone! I'm on the loose!



Vince: Gavin, what are you doing in my room? You'll be hearing from my lawyers!

Gavin: What's a lawyer?

Vince: Okay, nevermind. Just leave.

"Why are you dressed as a prince, Vince? HA! That rhymed."

Vince: I'm not a prince. I'm a LAWYER!

"Whatever. Prince Vince."

Vince:  Wait, what's that sound?



Kenneth: We're trying for another baby.

"But we don't have enough room."

Shante: Oh. Oops..



"So, how was school Vince?"

Vince: It was boring. I would sue everyone. Including the teacher for giving us this homework.



Shante: Oh no.....

"We are doomed! We don't have enough room for another sim!"

Kenneth has his adult birthday, the whole family comes. Carley gave birth to a daughter, her name is Tanisha.



And of course, what would The Singhs be like without some dancing?



"Kenneth, it's time to age up!"

Kenneth: Don't remind me.

Shante: Yes, I'm pregnant.



"That is the fakest smile I've ever seen."



Kenneth: OH NO! WRINKLES! Get me a beard to cover them up.

Carley: He actually looks like an elder...

Vince: You know grandma, your the only person in this house I wouldn't sue.

Vince comes home with a girl named Anita Logan-Bloom. Daughter of Moxie Logan and Apollo Bloom.

Vince: ...and that's why our teacher should be sued.

Chapter 24: Leisure Day and a Death



Shante: Yay. My adult birthday.

Kenneth: Yeah! My wife is so hot!



Kenneth: Umm....still she is.

Shante: Shut up.



Oh cheer up! It's leisure day after all! The Singhs go to the beach (with the exception of Allen, who stays at home to take care of Delilah) and swim in the (hopefully not contaminated) waters of Bridgeport.

Shante: This beach is so dull compared to Sunlit Tides.

Jessica: Is this safe?

Kenneth: No, I'm not taking any chances, I saw a candy wrapper in there.

"Oh man, if Lydia was here she would freak out."

Jessica: No doubt.



Vince: AH! SAND IN MY EYE! I'm sueing you sand-oh wait.

Gavin: Oh Vince. Wait is that a crab? High there! *PINCH* OW!

"I think it's time to go. What do you think?"

Kenneth: Yep.

Jessica: Totally.

Vince: Agreed.

Shante: Of course.

Gavin: Yes. *PINCH* OW! MY NOSE! IT PINCHED MY NOSE!



Maybe the festival will be better.

Vince: C'mon Gavin! You can do this!

Kenneth and Jessica: HOTDOGS....

Shante: Watcher you know that glitch where a sim can starve to death during a hotdog eating contest?

"Yes, why?"

Shante: Well, umm.....is it still in the game?

"I don't know."

Shante: Great.



Well, it's been a long leisure day for the Singhs. They return home around 11 PM, and go right to sleep.

Vince: Top bunk? You'll be-

Gavin: Deal with it. 

Vince: .....whoa...

*camera pans*

"What the-?!"



Jessica: I think I may have ate too many hotdogs....

"Oh no.....JESSICA NO!"



Jessica: What? I feel fine I'm-



Jessica: Oh, I'm dying.



Allen: Hmm...I need to take out the garbage. Wait a minute....something smells weird..



Allen: OH NO! Jessica!

Jessica: I'm sorry Allen, but it's my time.



Vince: NOOOOOOO!! Grandma was the only person in this house I wouldn't sue! Now she's gone! WAHHH!!



Grim: I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL! Wait, I've been summoned?! Oh dear. Pardon my singing, I was listening to my SimPod. Now, your Jessica Singh correct? Well, your dead. Obviously. But you need to be careful, the world your about to enter is very dangerous.

Jessica: Wait what-

Grim: Well, looks like I'm out of time see you! *Jessica vanishes* Now, I'm going to continue my song! *singing* Don't you ever say-*vanishes*



Vince and Allen: NOOOOO!!!



Rest in peace Jessica Singh, you were the only person in the entire family that was somewhat normal.



Soon the family moves on, Vince ages up.



Vince: This awful hairstyle?! You'll-

"Deal with it."

Vince: 



Here's his new wardrobe. Look at those cheeks. They are so huge. 



Delilah ages up as well.



Delilah: ...

"SAY SOMETHING FUNNY!"

Delilah: Ummm.....



Oooh, she got Shante's hair! And it looks like she got the cheeks too....



We end this chapter with Kenneth maxing the ghost hunting career and being honored in a ceremony by the mayor. That means that he accomplished his LTW, so we were sucessful on Generation 2! YAY!

Mayor Khalid: We would like to reward your efforts for being the town's best and only ghost hunter.

Kenneth: Ummm....thanks....?
