Chapter 40: Glitches Galore!
The new town is Riverview! Pretty much the opposite of Lunar Lakes. I've never really played here before, so it should be interesting. The Singhs purchase a nice pre-made house.
Two neighbors, Henry McGlum and Roxie Lin arrive to welcome the Singhs.
Gavin: This place is so different from Lunar Lakes.
Henry: WHAT?! You're from Lunar Lakes? I hear it's warm there.
Gavin: Whoa, the time portal just spawned behind you.
Tera: Hey, Roxie, is it? Is Riverview nice?
Roxie: No.
Tera: ..Okay then.
Roxie has an annoyed look on her face during the whole visit. Tera befriends her, and Gavin is now friends with Henry. But it seems like Roxie dislikes him.
Henry: *burps*
Roxie: Ew, dude, not cool.
Max and Tera immediately try for baby, and I hear chimes.
Max and Tera move out, don't worry, we'll be seeing more of them. This would be a good picture if it wasn't for the time portal photobombing it.
Marilyn: Can I use the computer after you Dawn? I want to chat with my old friends back from Lunar Lakes. I've read almost every book in the bookshelf. Where's all the futuristic stuff anyway?
Dawn: After I beat this boss battle!
The Singhs have dinner and go to sleep. It was a pretty uneventful first day.
The next morning, Dawn and Gilberto try for baby.
Dawn: BLEEH!
"Ew! Sim vomit!"
Dawn, like Anita, randomly stepped out of her work place and is now pregnant.
Dawn: Mom, I'm pregnant.
Anita: Oh honey, I so couldn't tell by your clothes!
Dawn: Um, mom? Is that your work outfit?
Anita: Yes, it's so embarrassing.
Marilyn takes a field trip to the graveyard. Whoa, her teacher is Roxie Lin!
Marilyn: Ms. Lin, where's everyone else?
Roxie: I don't know.
I look at the back of the school and find
this. Oh my goodness, what happened? It looks like Marilyn's interaction to go on the field trip caused a glitch that made all the students come out of the school. This is by far the strangest glitch I've ever seen.
At the graveyard, I find Tera and the ghost of Jenny Joy. Aren't the ghosts supposed to come out only at night? This is so weird.
Oh, and Tera is pregnant.
Jenny Joy: Why hello there young lady!
Tera: Um, hi?
Oh, and look. It's Don Lothiaro.
Don: Hello there pretty lady!
Tera: Get away from me, I read your page on Sims Wiki, and I'm not interested.
Don: Not again!
I look, and I find Jenny possessing a tombstone. That is crazy. Let's move on..
Gilberto has just come home from work. He's a teacher.
Gilberto: Hm, for some reason my classroom was full, and then everyone left. That's so strange.
We have a double birthday the next day. Marilyn ages to teen.
Marilyn: Ah! Base game hair! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!
Marilyn: My nose is huge.
Anita aged to elder.
Anita: Dawn, put that party blower away! You could hurt someone!
Dawn: Sorry mom.
Here's her makeover.
Dawn calls a repairwoman to fix the sink and she decides to insult Dawn.
Repairwoman: Ugh, did you only call me here for the NPC friend requirement?
Dawn: No, this isn't a decadynasty.
Repairwoman: Then why did you call me here?
Dawn: Because the sink is broken.
Dawn and the repairwoman spend several hours arguing, so finally, Dawn fires her.
Dawn: You're fired!
Repairwoman: WHAT?! What did I do wrong?
Dawn: *facepalm*
A few hours later, Dawn gives birth to a boy. Everyone welcome Aaron Singh!
