Sol L-Prestie - YA Human Female
« on: February 01, 2013, 02:46:49 PM »
This girl is I believe the 8th heir to my undocumented Legacy attempt. I separated her and saved a copy of her to my library as she's very fun to play with. Her genes are quite strong and usually influence her offspring other to be much more similar to her. In her bloodline, there is still Christopher Steel's lips in there, so don't be surprised if thin lips pop up.  Her hyphenated last name is significant because her father (the mother was the heir) was a fire fighter. That's right, Sol is a Pyromaniac.

Name: Sol Laves-Prestie [Soul LAH-vess PRESS-tee]
Age: Young Adult
Life State: Human
Traits: Flirty, Good Sense of Humor, Vegetarian, Loner, Artistic (Hidden: Pyromaniac)
Lifetime Wish: Illustruous Author
Gender: Female
Required Expansions: Ambitions
LTR: Observant, Attractive, Steel Bladder

She's at a level 2 in the stylist profession.

She comes already with seven points in both athletic and charisma, six points in painting, and one in cooking.  She also may or may not be given advanced placement in Logic and Music skills from her early child development. I have to check that.

She still has around 20,000 lifetime points to be spent.

Her hair colour is actually quite subtle, the blue came from her mother who wanted blue highlights or something or rather. It's not too bad looking on most kids.

She also seems to run everywhere she needs to go - not sure if its because she's descended from athletes, but the entire legacy would run everywhere they needed to be - even if it were five steps away! I believe this is all the hidden traits she carries, though I know for a fact somewhere down the line (I think in gen 2) the father was a rock star, but I don't believe he gave the 'rocker' trait to any of his kids.

Either way, she's got good genes and is quite nice usually. Hopefully.

Look at that grin as she sets her own paintings on (nonharmful) fire!

How can you use that Pyromaniac trait of hers? I'm having difficulty figuring that out.  ???

From the Sims Wiki:
Quote

The Pyromaniac hidden trait can be found in children of NPC firefighters.
You can only get this trait in a Sim who is the offspring of a firefighter Sim. The trait allows them to set fire to objects of their choice, and they get positive moodlets for doing so!

Abilities:
Can transmogrify any fruit and turn it into a flame fruit.
Can set things on fire for a short time without destroying anything.
A Sim with the Pyromaniac trait can survive until three hours when on fire, instead of the regular one hour. Thus their moodlet will be positive.
If a Sim in a house has already bought the Fireproof Homestead lifetime reward, a Pyromaniac Sim will not be able to set a fire on that house.
Despite the fact that the fire does not harm anything, it will still trigger the fire alarms if there are any nearby, summoning the firefighter and leading to a fine.

Sounds like a really cool hidden trait!

It is fun to play with her. She can't have fire alarms though or every fire will summon fire fighters.

A little miscommunication though; you can only set fire to objects when you click on your sim - burn something nearby.

Also, a fun fact, if you turn a pyro into a witch, fireblast spells will instead have the pyromaniac trait symbol, not the little wand.

In addition I've never seen her getting pleasure from being set on fire, but that might be because she's immune to it.

It's really just a little easter egg for fun to experiment with. You can also make Pyros by making one of the parents a firefighter in Ambitions. Much easier and faster than wooing an NPC.

No problem!
EDIT;
Oh, nevermind, she managed to set herself on fire this time. For the first time too!Well, she did get very happy from that (+20 for an hour) but I don't think she was immune to it.
